- Before you buy the Stellar Blade, here are 5 things you need to know! From features to performance, this video will help you make an informed decision.
Stellar Blade is the newest PlayStation IP and is looking to honestly make some waves. After some hands on time with the game, all I can say is that there is a lot here that is impressive and aims to really appeal to people who like many other games in its genre whether that be souls likes, hack and slashes or games where you just eliminate hordes of enemies wave after wave. Stellar blades demo is also a great way for players to really see if this is something they wanna sink their teeth to and spend their money on so playing that comes highly recommended.

I played the demo 3 times , fought the optional boss 6 times, I just adored this demo i got really good at everything the game is super fun once you get the controls down, plus the alien enemies are great with an original design and variety. Sekiro is one of my favorite game of all time and this one really reminded me that experience.
You really hit the nail on the head. I couldn't tell you the last time I played a demo this many times. Enemy design is legit super cool and gross as the same time. However I never played Sekiro so I need to dive into that sometime. Well that's a like I played it for like 30 mins but I wanna stream it so I held off but I loved what I played while I was in it. Def cant wait for this game though. Its gonna be lit.
The combat difficulty isn’t bad because you can just play it on Games Journalist Difficulty just like IGN and Kotaku. Not to mention in the demo you’re not leveled up. Absolute clowns like Asmongold who can only button mash can still clear the demo, so the average or below average gamer should have zero problems button mashing their way to the end of the game. More importantly is that if you just don’t like action games, you won’t enjoy the game, because gameplay is obviously the most important part of any game.
It's a shame that there's a difficulty suitable for games journalists, we need them to go away bruh.
And IGN confirmed that they hate it.
Well everyone has their levels of completing a game. Not everyone is a Giga Chad and can no hit elden ring lol. I like that setting is there for people who wanns chill and game however, It skews reviews for sure if someone plays on that setting and doesnt report thats where their perspective came from.

Asmon is a fucking clown yes! He said that this is not his forte tho. Idk why he is playing it. Another youtuber by the name "Antonio Redgrave" said he wont be buying it because its " souls like" and not DMC like . Wich he is totaly wrong 😂! It is character action game , he is just too stupid to realize it
I preordered the disc version before the demo came out.
The vast majority of Soul players live on the generous rolling s instead of parry. This game in comparison forces the player to learn perfect dodge and parry. It’s hard, hella hard.

Perfect dodges seemed to save me more than perfect parrying when facing the Stalker boss. I beat him 3 times in a row after I got good with the perfect dodges. At the end I relied on that more
@@stepheniosun I think that is also a sign of a game that’s giving people options when playing. Like, you made dodging work for you whereas I LOVE to parry. So, lots of ways to approach a fight 🤙🏽🔥
@stepheniosun I found both options to be equally viable unlike dark souls where rolling is easier or sekiro where it's all about parrying. Her perfect rolling and parrying felt equally as easy to pull off once you work out the timing.
that last boss in the demo took me a while to figure out you can parry its attacks
Even when I did figure out its flow it was still killing me over and over haha. Awesome boss design imo out of the three we got to play.

I waited for the demo to come out as I have never really played games like this, loved it preordered as soon as the demo ended.

I died twice, the parry is a bit odd because it looks like it has a slight delay when moving but once you get the parry upgrade its easy to get used to. Pre-ordered after the stalker boss
I noticed. The timing is a little different from what I would have expected. Seems to have a bit of an offset

I’m really excited to see what other grades those other skill trees have too. I think the parrying felt good overall. But I’m sure people experienced what you did as well
Now that you have played the demo, I urge you to check out the first reveal of the game which came out a couple of years back. There seems to be a possible spoiler regarding Tachy. Check it out let's hear your thoughts
Defensive moves always been in games an people just never used them until games like stella blade came out. An thats also why people complain about button mashing previously because they never defend or parry until sekiro.
Yeah but most games don't incentivize defensive moves like this, Sekiro or Lies of P for example. These were examples of games who leaned into it more to reward players for using these skills. Which is awesome to see devs doing these days in games like this.
Too bad exclusive only for ps5, hope pc version coming soon.

Unlikely it happens this year but I could see it happening eventually considering they did it for their biggest titles. Example TLOU, GOW and Horizon Zero Dawn etc

Unfortunately, it's not getting released on pc, Microsoft said no to Stellar Blade, and it's a stupid reason why they don't want this game on their platform.
You're going to have to buy PlayStation 5 to play it.
You need PS5. I don't trust PC and Xbox. Because they won't welcome stellar blade. I have only PS5 , have not PC and Xbox.
Yeah I have not seen anything about a PC port. But considering they've ported games like Horizon and GOW. I Could see this getting a port eventually.
@@Insight_Gaming Stellar Blade will definitely be on PC, it was a multiplatform game until sony stuck its gnome nose into the project, launching the game on PC will bring more money into the studio and into sony's pockets.

One thing, I can definitely give props to the combat. It's super dynamic, it is constantly changing. The stalker Boss fight. is a very good example of this
Yeah it really feels like it took gameplay from so many other games that are amazing in the genre and made it its own. Love it. Cant wait to play the whole game soon!

I had a really hard time defeating the Stalker.
There are so many titles coming along that have been influenced by the souls games & I just can't get to grips with the combat.
This game has an especially difficult learning curve also because of the other 2 dodging mechanics. I’m decent at reaction time stuff and this was a steep learning curve so I can imagine how you felt. However! Story mode might make the game more enjoyable!
Think before usine a buttons dont just shoot its not à fps or à any action games where you button mash dont mash and you Will be just fine

I didn't even know you could shoot.
Stalker took me 40 times before i beat him yup study is moves color pattern, and more, but abandon i had no issue at all stalker is so much faster and got the jumping slash and is combo slash of like 4 or 5 slashes and one on is back.
Unless I missed it, it seems you forgot to mention the ability to use a gun using R2 and L2

@@Insight_Gaming For me, yes. lol. Can't deny that, at first, Eve is the main focus, but after playing the demo, the combat and music are just as enjoyable. Heard that the combat will take 60% of the game, and there will more 100 music included in the game. I already fell in love with some of the music in the demo. Can't wait for the full release.
