Im picking Usyk for the same reason I picked him over Joshua in 2021. Usyk is just overall such a generational great boxer. His fundamentals are just soo much better than Fury. On top of great fundamentals Usyk has his head on straiggt and is just so strong mentally in every area. What matters is how fighters are outside of the ring and Usyk is just so healthy in his approach. Usyk will win a decision and he will be taking rounds from Tyson just as he did with Usyk. Usyk fought high level fighters ever since the amatures. Usyk has soo much more experience than Tyson that Ill comfortably say he will win 7 out of 10 times against Tyson Fury.
Usyk is going to collect all of the Infinity Stones! Usyk will complete the full boxing game at 100% via World Gold, Olympic Gold, Muhammad Ali trophy, Undisputed Cruiserweight, Undisputed Heavyweight, Lineal, Ring Magazine, Undefeated, Pound for Pound #1, TBE, The Greatest. There’s just beauty in symmetry!
Ali ain’t in the top 10 anymore
Not a chance
I hope he then rematches Fury, and doubles it to prove its no luck!

So much agree, USYK is the better of those two absolutely 🥊👊
Don’t want to hear any excuses about Fury being past his best when Usyk slaps him around. Usyk is older than him
In fairness you’re right there should be no excuses if he loses however usyk being older means nothing because everyone is different some people are finished earlier.

Hrgovic, zhang, and especially Sanchez haven’t done anything close to that. The only fight he owes to the public after usyk is Joshua
I think a bunch of those guys are living in a different dimension, and defending fury because he is Brit. Usyk shown many times that he can outbox bigger blokes. And I think that fury will struggle to land shots on a smaller, slik and faster opponent. Usyk is always exceptionally conditioned, he is fast, can take punch, and can adapt. He is in camp since November and clearly is super dedicated. Whereas Fury shown to be able get back up once knocked down, and looks more agile when compared to most other hw. Nobody is mentioning that Usyk was in a ring that was slippery and wet. It was open on the top and in the night it was raining. He sat down on his punches, because he had to.
I had Usyk vs AJ 1 as 8-4. Was a 50/50 until the 9th round but what Usyk did to take over is he was strategically peppering Joshua's eye which allowed him to dominate the last 3 as his vision was limited.
The rematch you mean? AJ won 2 rounds in their first bout. 3 tops. Rematch was level going into 10.
Both fights were at worst 7-5 Usyk. To give AJ only 2rds is to say you dont know how to score fights or u just a hater @@t.d6379
100%..... AJ did great in the 2nd but when he went for it..... Usyk just about survived.
@@t.d6379
I had both fights 9-3. The first fight I had it 5-3 after 8 and then Usyk just absolutely took over from 9 onwards. The second fight, whilst AJ was more positive coming forward and caught and hurt Usyk in the 9th, I still think Usyk outlanded him in almost every other round except maybe the first couple. I had AJ winning the first 2 rounds, Usyk winning the next 5 or 6 and then AJ had a huge 9th round. But, after that 9th round Usyk took it to another level and dominated big time!Could argue for 8-4 in the second fight but not more 🥊
@t.d6379 most people gave Joshua 3 rounds in the first fight. Imo both were landing a similar amount of shots in the first fight until round 10+. Many of Usyk's shots were being blocked and AJ landed a decent amount of jabs. I don't give points for Usyk being "busier" as it doesn't really mean anything but that he was dancing around.
I only count dancing if that dancing means you're landing more shots which he really wasn't for most of that fight.
The argument for Fury is size, but that’s been the argument for everyone Usyk has fought at heavyweight. Yes Fury is better technically than Joshua etc but he’s still a mile off Usyk. He leaves his body VERY open at times, but he hasn’t fought anyone good enough to expose it
None of Usyk's opponents have ever tried to use their size though. You can only say Chisora tried but he was the same height.
Both Joshua and Dubois stood off hoping to use their reach.
Fury will do his klitchko tactics jab hold and lean using his weight. Don't be surprised if it's just as boring as that fight
@@HeisenhagI’d be surprised if this is his approach. Usyk was asked to leave a Klitschko camp for boxing rings around him when preparing for Fury.

First time watching and brilliant chat between these guys 😊
Great debate, lads. Yes, Fury's leg are definitely shot, just like Lewis at 37. When your defense is your ability to move, expect Usyk to land at will after he has forced Fury to move around for 8 exhausting rounds. Easy fight if Usyk stick to the plan, and he has impeccable discipline as a fighter, like Bivol.
As I said before in my humble opinion is that Oleksandr Usyk just know how to win. It is his personality trait, not just a boxing skill. He finds the way to win, he finds how to adapt, how to stay through the storm like in fight with Chisora and 9.round second fight with AJ, he knows how to survive and deliver W. I follow Usyk's career from 2018, I live near Ukraine and I know ukrainian mentality. My prediction is this: I see two scenarios. Either Fury will rough Usyk up and bang him heavy early, which most likely can stop Usyk. Another scenario, which I lean towards more is this, Usyk will show his best fight as a BOXER, he will be so quick, so elusive, so accurate, even more than in his first fight with AJ. Look up guys Usyk vs Gassiev for undisputed cruiserweight title, Usyk was flying and Gassiev was punching air. Good luck and let us enjoy this fight fans.
It doesn't matter what Usyk do all that day, Tyson Fury is gonna stop Usyk.
I’d say Tyson Fury knows how to win in a much more extreme way than Usyk. He should have never got up in round 12 vs Wilder.
None of these 2 outcomes will happen. Both fighters are on the wane. Either fighter for a very narrow points win.

Remember what Cunningham did to Fury? It was a long time ago but Usyk is Cunningham x 100. Unless Fury has taken this super seriously Usyk is winning. I don’t see Usyk getting a TKO even with his punch rate. Fury’s chin is good. But if it goes to the cards and Fury can’t use his weight (hard against the white rabbit), then Usyk on the cards for me. No doubt. Fury’s weight has worked on other people but Usyk has way too much ring IQ and engine in him to let that happen. Or if it does it will take half a round for Usyk to adapt.
Shaun Porter beat Usyk the same year Fury beat Cunningham
Fury’s never fought anyone that throws 60 to 70 punches per round while he fidgets and feints but only throws 30 punches max . Fury will just get out worked but I still think he’ll pull out in fight week
You think he fears Usyk?
I doubt it the guys been smashed by the 2 hardest hitters in combat sports history.
I think Fury will find a way out before fight night too. 💯
*Thank you for the video! There is another aspect - behind Usyk's shoulders is a country at war. He is in constant contact with our defenders and I am sure they are asking him to win - so mentally he is like a rock. He just can't let them down.*
There is no debate. The better man is by far the better boxer.
I personally back an usyk late stoppage. I know it’s out there however I believe the volume that usyk will throw will stop a weathered fury
Uysk has to stop fury or at least drop him multiple times otherwise he'll get done on the cards
Fury has serious challenges fighting a southpaw fighter. That's why Otto Wallin gave him a hard time.
Francis in his fight with him quickly noticed it that's why he was switching southpaw often.
Usyk will be a nightmare to him because of this.
Absolute fools saying bellew was outboxing usyk and could’ve won if he was younger. Usyk outlanded bellew with at least 50 punches until the stoppage. Brits see what they want to see. Malignagi was the only man in that arena unbiased. Bellew at any age would’ve never beaten usyk and the man probably agreeing with me is bellew himself
If the version of Usyk that faced Joshua in the 2nd fight turns up vs Tyson Fury Usyk will win a close decision and potentially stop Tyson fury In the championship rounds mark my word! . I was shocked when I saw the level Usyk came with in the Joshua 2nd fight and I've watch many of Usyk fights. How quickly Usyk can adjust, how hard he hits for size and the skill level being able to totally shut down anything that comes at him leaving his opponents mentally drained and confused at what to do to win. Joshua couldn't even use his size usyk countered and used movement faints. I haven't seen anyone capable of doing this in the heavyweight division. Fury showed he doesn't know how to adjust/ adapt a different strategy quickly when the initial is going wrong vs Ngannou when he took fury jab away with the counters. That for me shows Tyson boxing iq is no where near the level of Usyk and as the fight reaches the later rounds Usyk will break Fury down.
the turnaround between round 9 and 10 in Usyk v AJ 2 was incredible - Usyk just went up a gear... I can't see Fury keeping up with that sort of pace
As much as I think you're making some good points I have to disagree with Fury's IQ. He has incredibly high boxing IQ which isn't too far off Usyk, but I think his body isn't able to carry out certain things like it used to and he had a bad night by his standards. Fury is also A switch hitter but has neglected some of his skills. A big factor with Ngannou and why hindsight is special is he has an incredible reach and he's a monster who trusts his chin so he was all wrong for fury, despite losing. A seasoned Ngannou would have obliterated him that night. Still, Fury can definitely beat Usyk and the only way is if he prepares like never before. Usyk can also win and is a tremendous boxer. I'm leaning towards the bigger man on the night if both are at their best.
100% on this...... AJ had him hurt.... but he dug into a level that only the greats of all time can get too.@@leolovetoparty
@@OriginalNuttah93 lots of people are going by the “a good big ‘un will beat a good little one” but by that token Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson would have never become champions.
You made a good point about Fury’s body not being able to carry out certain strategies. Well, he’s gonna need to be more skilful and nimble than at ANY time in the past. Fury beat Wilder by bulking up and wearing him out. Wilder is probably the worst boxer (in terms of skill and fundamentals) than anyone in the top 10 in the division…
Personally I think Fury’s lack of proper training and fights since Wilder II has already taken its toll. It’s one thing to come back from inactivity at 27, he’s now 35 and literally a fat b45tard.
My money is on Usyk and I think his conditioning will be the deciding factor from the 7-8th round onwards. I think the first 7-8 rounds will be quite even and Usyk will rinse Fury from the 9th onwards. Might even get a TKO.
@@polarit7628 I genuinely can’t see Fury hurting Usyk like AJ did. I think AJ is a harder, proper power-puncher which Fury never has been and never will be. I can’t see Fury connecting anything like enough times to hurt Usyk and I can see Usyk making adjustments to his game plan if he does.
I also can’t see Fury using his bulk the same way he did against Wilder. Usyk is no mug to let him do that. He’ll make Fury chase him and go in and out of range while landing jabs and left straights, all the time dancing around a less mobile Fury.
I think Usyk will wear Fury out physically and possibly mentally by the time we get to the championship rounds.

The only style that's ever proven effective against Usyk is to utilise physicality, rough him up and hurt him.
Chisora put him in difficult positions. Dubois hurt him with controversial shots.
You think Fury is physically incapable of imposing his size on Usyk?
doesn't matter with size when fighting uysk. uysk doesn't stay still in one place to be bullied in the clinch. Chisora was ruffing up uysk and fury has about 5/6 inches in arm length, I can see fury getting a point deduction. Joshua doesn't do the ruff stuff . If uysk wins he will have been put through a washing machine to do it. Furys pride , plus furys nasty side will not allow uysk just to jab and throw lefts and move away. I like uysk but I would love to see him bashed up and thrown around. Which is furys only way to win .

I think father time is a factor and it comes sooner for fighters that don't live the life. Hatton was done by 31 who led a similar life style. Usyk is a pound for pound top 10 so it's an Usyk points
😂😂😂😂
@@madaickiwon292Good argument
I love how you guys pull it apart so much and come back in with stuff that I just never even considered. And all with banter, too 👍
Fury scares that he won= Cunningham, Pijovic, Wallin
Fury scares that he lost= McDermott, Ngannou
he was 21 when he fought mcdermott..usyk lost at the same age in amateurs..perspective
Usyk schould have this relatively easy
Usyk seems to be fighting for legacy and money. Fury seems to be fighting just for money. I think that should be the biggest factor in who wins and who wants the win more.
Would he even be fighting Usyk if the Saudis didn't offer him everything he wanted? Probably not.
Usyks cardio and movement is what wins it for me. I don't think Fury hits harder or is quicker than AJ and AJ couldn't catch and corner Usyk in 24 rounds with Usyk getting stronger as the fight wore on which isn't a surprise since big guys being made move about and worked hard having to carry that big frame about will fade quicker.
I think Usyk wins this unless Fury pulls a rabbit out of a hat.
Furys ego will not want to end his career being beaten by a soft punching cruiserweight. I can see it getting dirty . Fury always talks about being this generations best . If he beats uysk, who best Joshua twice. Fury will cemented thst claim. Fury will not think ok im earning 70ml so i im ok with losing. Just as with Cunningham elbows , headlocks . Uysk will have to go through hell to win.
Good point. Against common opponent like johnson, wallin and klitschko, AJ gets the job done by ko whilst fury goes the distance. Not so sure the gap between the two is so wide so if usyk handled Joshua's speed and power then he should cope with furys. Wilder was furys best win but we've seen how Parker breezed through with.der without going through hell like fury did and joshua beat Parker.
The fact that usyk has twice eat joshua puts him in a good position going into this fight because I don't think furys body is in its prime. Dubois and joshua bought more explosivness and were handled by usyk
The best comment on this podcast and something that doesn’t get mentioned much is when the guy says Usyk has never looked in trouble (apart from low blow gate). Whereas Fury has looked in trouble and been down a few times. However, this may count for nothing on the night. I’m calling this a 55/45 fight in Usyk’s favour.
in reality fury,s got to be the best he,s ever been against usyk , and it will be his hardest fight in his career
That guy that said a younger tony bellew could beat Usyk needs to never talk about boxing again.
Fury to win by way of judges robbing Usyk who clearly won.
I’ll be surprised if fury can get 2 rounds off usyk tbh
😂😂😂
I'll be surprised if Usyk walks out the ring
@@madaickiwon292well you’re not a boxing fan then 😂😂
@@astradala1845 I was amateur boxer for 10 yrs
Remind me how many fights you've had watching TV on your couch?
The only chance fury ever will have to beat usyk is if he adapted his old herky jerky style which am afraid he can no longer adapt. Usyk beats fury easier than he beat joshua watch!
One comment Usyk made which is significant is that he wants to fight Fury when Fury is fully fit and at his best! And it’s that old Spartan comment by Fury…………….. Usyk has more of the Spartan mindset!
Great analysis from these guys and nice to see theyre all English ; but the link to Lawrences youtube channel doesnt work?
Usyk will win on points and probably knock fury down along the way
Usyk is actually very strong! And the body shot, or low blow, that Dubois was able to catch him with had lots to do with the heavy rain and that the canvas was very slippery
Totally agree. That canvas needed a Caution Wet Floor sign on it. Usyk slipped a few times because the slippy canvas was disruptive to his natural footwork and movement.
