She doesn't have more subscribers because people, generally speaking, still do not understand nor appreciate the symbiotic relationship between flowers and vegetables. I grow flowers FOR my vegetables and sticking a marigold in four corners of a bed ain't cuttin' it. I grow close to 700 flower seeds every year FOR my vegetables: pollinators, pest-resistance, deer-resistance (although that requires an army of piss and vinegar cocktails). The by-product is beauty in my gardens, my salads, my window boxes and containers, my dining table, my outdoor dining space. So many videos on vegetable gardening and one in a thousand will address flowers as a real force in food production. Don't believe me? Hit a farm in Iowa and tell me how many flowers you see growing between the beans or corn or tomatoes or whatever. Lisa is a gem. I just discovered her and I'm so glad I did.

Love you, Tucker! Thank you for the freezer tip for the cool flowers - I had wondered about doing that as a way to simplify what needs stratification and what doesn't need as much.
