    What a wealth of excellent information. I’ve already started 3,000+ little blocks, but some are doing well and some aren’t. Now I know why. Thank you!

    60 new straw flower and 60 new stock starts, in 4 days! I cannot wait to try soil blocking w/a heat mat, for the first time. I do not even care if I make newby mistakes, I have been sold to try for about a year, just unable to get started until now.🌻

    What is a good compost to buy for seed starting mix? Local stores only have bags of cow manure or chicken manure under “compost” and my city doesn’t give out compost since they sell it all to local farmers. Should I get a bag of worm castings for the sifted compost in your recipe or something else?

    I love your videos! I have a seedling business and want to use soil blocks. Any ideas as to where to put block if you sell seedling starts at the market?

    I can't remember who it was, but one person had people type "QUESTION" in caps, so they could see the comments that were a question :)

    I would have thought that the styrofoam trays don't block the heat from the heat mat. Does that not happen?

    Hi Lisa! Do you know how we can buy your book Cool Flowers (the actual book, not the ebook)? Is it out of print? Thanks!

    Where is the best place to buy the gnatcontrol ?

    • @croninscott
      @croninscott Před 2 lety +1

      I just bought it from Pretty In Green--they seem legit. It was the only place where they didn't say it was for caterpillars or something else--they actually said it was for seedlings and Gnats. 1/2 ounce was $15 shipped. It should make 5-10 gallons which is enough for me but you can buy more.
