    Common theme you hear is what Kate said about going out and seeing people perform live. It just rarely happens nowadays. Sadly feels like the band experience she’s talking about just doesn’t existence anymore. Hopefully it turns soon

    @09:55 "...a backlash against women..." That really seems odd. I know
    radio got enamored with growling, grunting dudes, but women have always
    been popular pop stars. Brenda Lee, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Helen
    Reddy, Donna Summer, Dione Warwick, Anne Murray, Olivia Newton-John, Juice Newton, Heart, The Pretenders, The Bangles, The Go-Go's, The B-52's, Janet Jackson, Madonna, Lady Ga-Ga, Shakira...I could go on and on.
