Man, that Mats Magnusson last minute equalizer (SWE-W.GER 2-2) is a moment I will always cherish! I was 9 years old watching that game on TV in Sweden, i think it was the earliest Sweden International game I vividly remember seeing. Magnusson came on as a substitute in the final minutes of the match and his first ball touch was the 2-2 goal. Then the ref blew the whistle for full time. Great memories! Just a shame Sweden eventually failed to qualify for Mexico 86, because that team was underrated. Workmanlike but still historically underrated. The defensive line Sweden has today is a joke in comparison.
