Wonderful header by Olaf Thon at the second goal if there ever was one. Not only did he smack the ball right under the cross bar, he also won the duel against Danish defender Ivan Nielsen who is 23 cm taller (!) than him. How was it even physically possible that Thon got to the ball?

They are not vuvuzelas at all, they are airhorns/ klaxons, they made the atmosphere in all European soccer games throughout the 1980’s. That noise added to those games. What do we have today in 2023?
Pitches and stadia that look all the same, box net goalposts that look all the same. There is ZERO! atmosphere now at games today. Its all so boring and generic.
