There were so quality players and goals and your videos replied many wonders about great old teams who didn't qualify to previous world cups like the dutch team in early 80's and also showed us great teams like Scotland, Yugoslavia n peru for how they were playing and how stubborn were Sweden and Denmark that era.

It was a strange group. Sweden screwed up their first three games and it was practically all over for them already at that point. And then Portugal screwed up both games against Sweden.
Sweden went downhill rapidly after the 1978 World Cup and didn't qualify for an international tournament until 1990.
It's a shame Sweden got off to such a lousy start (they couldn't win any of the first four games). When he woke up and started winning it was a bit late.
