I've never played basketball because the people who play it have always been arrogant with me, so I naturally avoided it. I've decided to give this sport a shot just to see if I have any potential with the ball. Wish me luck and God bless all of you on this journey.
don't worry, i had a late start as well. not as late as you did though. i started in fifth grade and i'm now in 11th. i've seen so much improvement in the first year and a half i had played. KEEP GOING!
I'm not Kyrie of course , but from what I've researched , the drills where you keep changing directions and use the body to protect the ball are the only stuff you need to learn this skill that you want to learn and when doing this drills , you going to want to go slow . Change directions while controlling the ball going slow
But , you WILL eventually be able to control the ball while being pressured , u just have to train your handles , and the better you become at it , the more confident and the more moves you're gonna have when being pressured
Does this happen to someone else: there are days my handles are so good, it seems that the ball and I are only one entity, it does exactly what I want, and the following day it is as if I unlearned even the basics lmao It is so frustrating
Man I'm so happy to see this lots of ppl like me , who are putting the work in , here where I live , there might be like 2 others and they don't even put that much of a work in, I would love to have somebody that works even harder than me , so that I can work harder
My personal tips for this video 1 freestyle 5-20 min 3+ days in a week depending of how much time you have and your physical condition 2 master the basic moves then master normal combos then master advanced moves and then you master advanced combos 3 be coordinated , be wide and your body always follow the ball , turning hips and getting low , and do a slight hand spin when dribbling to stick the ball to your hand better
Make a video how to not carry. Funny how low balls adbot players calls a carry just cause you got them on a hezi or crossover which messes the whole game.

Arrogance is something you have to deal with😂 but continue, it’s not worth letting them stop you
@@WhyAreWeStilllHereJustToSuffer That's precisely why I joined. I was in elementary and middle when I avoided it, but now it's time to give it a shot.

He is like so good with the ball!!
thanks for the tip i have basketball practice tonight and im definitely going to practice these moves and tips to crack some ankles
Thank you now I know how to get better
Wow🙂👍
Could you do exercisers to improve speed and acceleration with the basketball
also remember part of being a good dribbler is to be able to change speed and height of the ball quickly for hezi
i just slow down and then speed up for a hezi
Trial n error is an important part of a learning progress simple as that
I did learn to dribble in-between the legs (kind off) after a few hours of training
❤
Can you do next for shooting for 2 or 3 pointer
@Professor live, must have practiced this from when he was 3
I just don’t have the creativity to have a deep enough bag to beat my defender more than 5-6 times as I play in the highest leagues in my country
Sayless 💯💯
Yoo do you think you can slow the video down cause I try to do it but I lose track of the ball can you slow it down
Your hair helps sell the move I’ve seen in other videos your hair will move with the ball and I’m bald so I have to really really sell the move 😂

If you don't feel like doing the crazy freestyle dribbling imagine Currys guarding you and just spam moves and imagine you snatch his ankles
