What's sobering is the realization I went to my first and only Lover Boy concert 40 years ago.

So good of you to put this here 🙏
      - with the 'keyboard help needed by Mike' issue, I thought it would be the ending part of 'It's Over' - NOPE. It's the 'my way' scream in Turn Me Loose. To find that Mike's favorite song, 'It's over' - he doesn't do now, is also a huge indication that his upper range is now 'light.'
BTW: I have a 'playlist' published of live stuff, one video per channel, that guides people to channels that find old classic shows

Someone else noticed this, if you zoom in on the keyboard player, he triggers a vocal scream sample, pre-recorded.

@@RD-yj9zj I don't hear the change in singing, he is lightly hitting the note, pushing and reaching - verses what perfection a sample could achieve
We need to see this done for a tougher song - until then I'm not convinced. It could be the keyboard player is worried about the note and moves his hand from nerves, not to trigger.
He would need to pull a Geoff Tate and quit smoking and drinking for ages, to recover that range for When It's Over
Reno said in 2016 or so that he has both bad habits, and he has never missed a note - not true. He swerves around the tough parts since 2011 or earlier. It would help Reno so much to lose weight and the bad habits. If the keyboard player is trying to trick the audience - at least Mike needs to tell the crowd, there are a few samples to help my old voice. At the July 31 Scotiabank arena show, on youtube, he said he was 'happy as EFF to be back in Canada !' - I wonder if he got frosty reception while in the US. Did crowds catch on to it. I expected some promotion of the blue ray - which looks incredible. Imagine if that laserdisc at the time was handed to MTV. The guitar player did an interview with bob lefsetz at least...

They sound great! Every time I comment on a Loverboy video I say RIP Scott Smith. I'm sure he would be on stage with them if he was still here.

nope, they did two hit loaded albums and make a career out of them
this move was stolen by a dozen bands - DEF LEP, BON JOVI, Cinderella, Poison, PRINCE, MJ - it's a formula at this point. Somehow they could write hits for a short period of time. Then who cares, churn out filler albums the way bon jovi does. At least Def Lep admitted that they hate the studio. Respect for that.
