Like mate. I'm having a Term 3 maths exam tomorrow. This calculator saved me life. In my exam I don't even need to show my working out! Like they're MCQ's only. How lucky I am.
Lol that pfp
(of Jeremy Clarkson in an ariel atom)
this will secure me a 9 in gcse cheers.
Im using it for further maths lol
KellyHelloz XD it’s the shift (top left) and AC, try a couple of times. You’ll get it eventually
Got AAA (Physics, Further Maths and Pure Maths) in A-Levels with the help of this calculator. I highly recommend!
@@kellyahuactzi shift and then AC
@@north6660 any advice for maths?
Thank you very much for all your time and trouble spent doing the equations by hand just so you could compare the answers! Thank you for making this video, it has been a great help to me!
A very good general summary of useful features. Liked & play-listed.
Thank you so much, I learn so much in this video
Thank you really appreciate your hardwork
One of the best video for this calculator😍😍😍
Thank you, a very informative and helpful video!
Thanks for the tutorial it was very helpful, I got this calculator for A level maths.
At around minute 19:00, you can use Abs (shift ( ) then OPTN and choose the vector, and it calculates the absolute value of the vector.
THANKS SO HELPFUL
you can calculate magnitude of a vector using the Abs function
HELPFUL THIS VIDEO BASIC KNOWLEDGE IS BEST
For integration u also must have calculator in degrees, not radians.
I think this needs to be in radians as there is a trig function with the correct answer -97.105 (to 3 d.p.)
i swear its the opposite?
RTFM PAGE 15
Integration and Differential Calculation Precautions
• When using a trigonometric function in f(x), specify “Radian” as the angle !!!
@@joanne0 For sure it is the opposite
Great video man, thanks
Very helpful!!
This man is mah g :)
Thank you so much!
Thank you! I just started A level maths
Thank you for this explanation video 🙂
Great video man, is there any way to calculate limits too?
Please tell me if it's possible to develop only an expression like (x^2-3x)^3. Thank you
Hi do it got the Ohm law on it i am doing my amateur radio test
What program are you using to demonstrate?
Casio FX 991 very nice
Nice!
Hi
I was checking out your website you have some great resources! I was wondering if you had Paper 2 and 3 Edexcel A level maths papers. You have uploaded the June 2018 QP and MS, but not the rest. Thank you!
I am planning on doing video solutions to the other papers so I will upload the papers to the website when they are out.
czcams.com/video/NGsXRsjV9xs/video.html no need to buy ,use it
Thank you soo much! You saved my statistic class, at the American University of Rome.. better than normal instructions
Lol coronavirus saved my statistics gcse
Hi, is any calculator in the market I can solve indefinite integrals ?? Cheers from Australia. keep up the good work. Thanks
17:52 how do you go back and find the dot product? i bought the calculator and i want to know how to use this one but i am very confuse though i really learned from it.
I don't know whether it was the calculator or the lesson, but this was the most straightforward explanation of the use of complicated functions on a calculator. I think it was both. The calculator is a dream. The lesson was fantastic.
Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed it 👍
I'm trying to follow the Vector problem and after entering the values for B, pressing the down cursor I'm not getting the menu selection that you get to select the dot value, when I press down arrow, I get a blank screen? I'm using a brand new fx-991EX
Is this calculator suitable for gsce
You can do absolute value of the vector for magnitude
At around minute 11:00, you can just press the right arrow after entering 2x + 1 to enter the limits: >2>9 then = (enter)
In the exponential equation, after getting my first answer, when I press equal to it keeps showing can't solve
I wish they would do a calculator that shows the working method. That would save all the tedious solving by hand.
does that exist?
Try to solve the one at 16:00 always gives me the wrong answer either by hand either using radians or degrees. I can't understand why is it 10.223.
abs gives you the euclidian magnitude in vector mode.
Best Calculator guide I have seen , thank you so much. I was wondering , I know for the integration style questions you need to show working for marks however for the Statistics questions would you be able to set out your answer without the formula and still achieve full marks? Thanks again
Yes for the statistics questions you should still get full marks from just using the calculator, but they are not worth as much compared to the old A Level specification.
@@EasyMathsChannel Life saver , cannot thank you enough!!
@@EasyMathsChannel Thanks so much for this guide. Wondering if you know how it pertains to WJEC as I'm studying in Wales and my tutor is still doggedly telling us that you need to show workings for every question. Drawing out the tables to calculate variance using the sum of xi^2 - E(X)^2 is a real pain. I don't know how to find out whether WJEC allows use of the stats functions too.
2:03 you dont actually have to press alpha
CAN THIS CALC DO (SINE SQUARE OF SOME NUMBER!) SAY sine square 14 + sine spuare 22 =?
cN u do a tutorial how to do percentages on this calculator
Nice face
In a serd? Serd->decimal. Somebody help me cause I want more calculators that default to results like that
Press the SD button. :)
Will this calculator solve algebraic fractions
RICHARD EVANS no the Casio cannot solve algebraic fractions.
How on earth did you go back to the vector menu
god level
How did you get back to the vector menu at 17:53? Please help.
Press the option key then scroll down and select the dot product.
Late answer but after you defined the vectors you either have to press the AC key or select Vector Calc from the option menu, then you can select dot product as said.
which is best this one or TI-36X pro?
Ethan Shaw the Casio is superior in doing DMS calculations, REC-to-Polar calculations, and using the CALC function, because the Casio is far more intuitive in those operations, but that’s all... where the TI36X Pro shines is its power-off memory protection. ALL of your calculation history, in all modes, is saved if you power off and then turn it back on.
@@GeoCalifornian thank you
Hi, how can I write sin^2 with this calculator? Thanks.
You need to write (sin(...))²
Is this statistics?
Where can i find a cheap casio fx-991 calculator. UK PRICE
it costs around £20-£30 wherever you go
20:00
That x=0 @ 12:10, I assume that is supposed to be a guess.
is this better than fx85gtx
Generally 82 or 85 are the basic models. 115, 570 and 991 are more advantaged. The 85gtx seems to lack numeric integration, sum, solver (Newton's method) and Calc which allows you to calculate a formula with different values and likely others.
Please can it solve trigonometry?
Yeah it says it can on the box
It can solve
Gen Math
Pre-Algebra
Algebra 1&2
Geometry
Trigonometry
Statistics
Calculus
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
Engineering
It's $20 USD
Is this allowed for students in exam ?
I know it's allowed for GCSE and A Level exams. But for other exams i'm not sure.
Can't understand from 17:51
Md Nazmus Sakib I got stuck as well, but I figured it out. Where 4 of vector b appears last; go to Option then select 3 for vector calc, option again scroll down the next page screen then select two for . Product, then follow video instruction again.
@@HClutchwao thanks
My pleasure
~40% of these are faster by hand. Also, what's going on 15:55?
integral of e^x sinx dx = e^x/2 (sinx-cosx)
thus integral of e^x sinx dx, x = 2 to 5 = e^5/2 (sin5-cos5) - e^2/2 (sin2-cos2) ~= -97.105. Both wolfram alpha and desmos agree with me.
www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=integrate+sinx+e%5Ex+from+x%3D2+to+5
Yes, it gives -97.105 on radians and -63.893 with degrees. And doing it by hand also gives me these numbers, I really don't know why
You sold me on the calculator. It seems like it's got a ton of function
16:14 is the wrong answer
When putting the angles as Degrees it is -63... and as radians it is -97... I don't know what is wrong with the calculator actually...
From 17:54 to 19:47, there is a far easier way of doing this. Select Option 3 : Angle. Angle(VctA, VctB) will give you the angle between vectors A and B.
And if you still want the intermediary steps, the magnitude of a vector is often referred to as its "absolute value". So | VctA | = Abs(VctA) which you'll find under SHIFT (
