I have FX-991ES plus 2nd edition and it took 13.82 sec
They stripped out 100 functions from the US model that are still available in the German version, but you can't change the language, otherwise I would have bought the FX-991DE X - but then I would have to learn German. However, the Japan version (fx-jp900) has a periodic table function as well as the LCM, GCF, etc...and can be switched to English!
Thank you for the information. I checked FX-JP900 on eBay and it is over US$60 which is twice the FX-991EX.

I wonder why Casio left out the GCD/LCM functions on all versions (UK, international, US, Canda), but made it available in the German version!
You are right. I don't know some features are region dependant.
the 580 VN X (vietnam) has GCD and LCM but no solar panels

impossible that you have the same model withou the buttons. your model must be different.
