Eastfield Mall officially closes this summer, tenants react

The Springfield mayor’s office confirmed the Eastfield Mall will close its doors for good later this summer.

A point across this article is years ago until the 1970s once storefront business was the thing in downtown areas indoor malls replaced the shopping scene now storefront business is coming back and indoor shopping malls are quickly phased out. I like the old storefront idea better its more classic many owners make more money this way when you can rake in past a million dollars in a year worth of sales.

Only 2 Massachusetts malls are still holding in Burlington and Natick more development especially restaurants along with new retail stores in Burlington they are building all kinds of office and other buildings I live east of central Massachusetts business is thriving out this way. Every where you drive there is always something new college is booming too. So much more.
