    'Animals with Cameras' ep 3:
Wildlife cameraman Gordon Buchanan leads a team of animal camera experts as they join forces with scientists to put cameras on animals. In the heart of the Atlantic, the team looks to discover why huge numbers of devil rays, fish with 'wings' nearly four metres across, gather every summer near the Azores archipelago. The team deploy specially designed cameras which are towed behind the rays and can survive the crushing ocean depths. The never-before-seen footage includes the unborn ray pups kicking inside their mothers - a sign that this gathering might be a breeding ground for these mysterious ocean giants.

Did they take the cameras off after? It kind of looks like it's actually digging into their skin a bit.

      1. Its not digging into their skin at all
2.it could pose a problem with mobility
      3. i do belive those cameras have a means to detach trough radio control(a servo just seperates the wire)

Buchanan? I found this surname for the 1st time in a short story entitled; "Kerana Manisnya Epal..." in DS magazine.
    cer|pen = ce-ri-ta + pen-dek

The largest are manta, or devil, rays, which may be 23 feet across.

Manta rays swim near the surface, but skates and most other rays lurk on the bottom.
