Sounds like a name Ozziemanreviews would call them
@Vihaan Jad why would anyone care about that
Majestic CZcams bozo
One of the coolest creatures on the planet for sure. Every time I see one it always seem like they're smiling. Just radiates peace.
I love that last line
Same here 😊it happen to be for me the best depression and Anxiety therapy support creature 🥰🥰😍😍
Despite my wife's paranoid concerns, swimming with manta rays is one of my top Bucket List items.
Yes! me too!

We had the resemblance! Why do you think this occured to us?
Hahahaa wow. …..lol 😂

I was fortunate enough to have a pod/school Of Manta Rays swim underneath me, about 20-30 of them. But this encounter is pure magic! How lucky & beautiful guys. Cheers!!
Amazing! Where did you find the Manta Rays?
In open waters off of Cancun, Mexico in June 2014. It was the cherry on the cake after swimming with 4 Whale Sharks :)
These creatures seem peaceful but then still how can you go so so close to them? How can you not scare to such a huge fish?
@@shirshN
seriously?
1. u can't get that close to them if they (the mantas) don't want, 2. Not you are going that close, the mantas do and 3. fear is just a result of ignorance (eg this situation). Why should someone be scared of something like a peaceful plankton eating creature? Even facing a shark u don't have to be scared if u know what ure doing.
Don't be scared, be respectful 👌.
Cheers.
They’re the eagles of the ocean. They’re so beautiful 😍❤️
My favorite marine animal as a kid. I had forgotten about these animals. They are truly one of the most majestic creatures to ever have existed.
OMG, it was nearly completely _black_ ! You guys must be lucky to encounter a melanist manta ray - I heard they are quite rare. Majestic experience, I'm envious as hell))
Just realized that yeah, one of them doesn’t have the white underbelly
I came here after an extremely vivid dream I had about cliff diving into the most beautiful blue clear/blue water and having a close encounter with a giant manta ray. It was so real and I became lucid (realized i was dreaming). On top of that, I had my two daughters with me (my reason for living) and we could all breath under the water as we swam in this heavenly water with this beautiful creature. It was one of the most amazing dreams I ever had. After I woke up, I had to look that dream up, and I was blown away by the coincidences that connected my wake life to the dream interpretation.
This is beautiful
I hate when people call their kids “my reason for living”. It sounds so performative
@@jakeraught4939 and i hate when people are unnecessarily negative :)
And I love reading comments of strangers fighting each other on the internet lmao
@@jakeraught4939 Are you okay? Do you need a hug?
big man real
Why am i crying watching this 😭 they just look so majestic swimming around the ocean. In my next life i'd like to be a manta ray.
One word that describes Manta Rays:
✨MAJESTIC✨
Manta Ray: who is this two legged crap?
The Rocker me
The Rocker jk
Just kidding

That was beautiful! I cried when the Manta Ray slowly floated on top of you. I could only imagine what that felt like to be so close & connected to such a majestic creature ❤️
Truly unique and beautiful creatures.
Swam with some of these beasts near Komodo. I don't dive, but we saw close to a dozen swimming around us near the surface! One of the most amazing things I have ever experienced.
Seems like they're curious creatures!
Just like most of the animals with big brains they seem to have that natural urge to learn and experience things.
Biggest brain off all cold blooded fish
I cannot explain what it is about this show. I discovered it by accident on some backwater channel several years ago and it really blew me away. Never has anything or anyone inspired me to get out and travel like descending has. I do feel a little bummed at times watching though because Scott and Ellis and the rest of the gang not only seem like the luckiest divers in the world getting to hit all these amazing dive sites around the world that I'll never see they also have so much fun doing it. Makes one wish one were there for the party cause even if one had the time, money, and training to dive all the same sites, it wouldn't be half as cool without Ellis' charisma or Anna's lighting setting the scene.
Just wow. The way they just glide. And the black one was so cool.
Some people: "It's so beautiful! What an experience!"
Some other people: "It looks like the devil himself! What an ominous creature to be close to!"
Ray: "Hello."
Cinematography is easily as accomplished as the Blue planet. Should have been way more recognised.
This was an amazing video!!! Why doesn't this have more views!
Because people are disconnected from nature and are more concerned about the real important stuff... like how many Likes they got on facebook.
They do now.
@@jfitz3133 AGREED
Manta Rays are fantastic animals.... pretty amazing
Love, love, love this! So magical.
I think I have found a new favorite animal :D
This is one of my favorite parts of the descending series!! Such an experience
Manta rays are some of the nicest creatures you will ever encounter
It's amazing to think they get bigger
Brought a teat to my eyes, I remember fishing with my Dad and seeing huge rays come close to the boat similar to this, being in the domain swimming with them would be fantastic, they are beautiful...
A teat to your eyes! Aye mate, I wish 🤣
This is just so beautiful. I just smiled the entire time.
I was snorkeling in the bay in Miami FL and a huge Ray was on the floor and took off right in front of me it was such a wonderful site! I will never forget it.
Wow, just stunning!
This is brilliant! Manta rays are definitely one for the bucket list!
This video in 4k makes your jaw drop. These creatures are magnificent and the ocean is scenic and wonderful.
Wow! How beautiful. Stunning and majestic creatures. Enjoy swimming with divers. Thank you.
Such amazing creatures gosh I love the ocean and it's life
One like this was hanging out in my region in Brazil a few days ago (June 20, 2024). Amazing!!!
What an incredible experience! 💙
the videos is excellent, we can see underwater creatures clearly. That manta rays are beautiful and majestic. They are flying in the deep.
3:07 I like how he was copying the manta ray's movements lol
Came here looking for this comment
Lmao
I can't ever look at a Giant Manta Ray without Dire Dire Docks music playing in my head.
Beautiful gentle giants, should be protected at all costs.
Soooooo fascinating. One had a black belly, rather rare!! Thanks a million for this footage
Those were amazing creatures I've never seen this video until now.
Wow!! Thank you for sharing this ❤...I'm not crying

Amazing! So beautiful ❤
Beautiful creature..
Beautiful giant Manta Rays ❤ , also beautiful Video.
this is one of my favorite youtube video ever. especially the part when the diver is copying mantas moves
what a beautiful creature. Of all the sea creatures in oceans, Manta Rays are about the most favorite. Right next to the Groupers and French Angelfish and Lionfish.
The music was beautiful. Reminds me of Interstellar.
SIGNALING THROUGH THE FLAMES by American Dollar
Mind blowing!
the underwater interactions like these always get me emotional lol
What a beautiful world it’s a shame we’re tearing it apart 💔
Stunning
that's quite a big majestic sea flap flap
Spectacular
fantastic creatures!
These are such beautiful creations of the Lord. Amen
Amazing❤
dude, this is cool
Mother nature is the best designer of all time, no man-made machine would ever match the graceful and elegant shape, proportions and movement of a big ray.
Amazing creatures. Alien like
Very cool!
I was so sad when the series was taken off Netflix I’ve watched ever episode 5 times or more. I love you guys what are you up to these days? I hope still traveling I miss new footage
That was so awesome😘
THAT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!
Curiosity and wonder... It wants to check us out... Really neat
One day Im gonna swim with manta rays! beautiful creatures!
Beautiful for sure, but sinister-looking to me, and a bit too big for comfort, no matter how lovely they are. Thank you.
I love Manta Rays
Cuuute
That was beautiful
Giant sea blankies are so curious and adorable!
Amazing *-*
Very cool 😎
2:50 *HOLY SHIT*
wow so cool
Juz meet them during snorkeling in Nusa Penida, Bali...
They are majestic.. yet somehow their size is quite frightening..
They’re truly, the ghost of the sea!
Neat!
The biggest manta I ever saw was on a trip to Cape Hatteras, North Carolina on shipwreck dives about 23 years ago. One had to have at least a 20 foot/6 meter wingspan. Several others there were also larger than I've seen elsewhere over about 30 years of diving.
The coolest and weirdest in a good peaceful way animal. pics and footage doesn't give justice if you see one in real life and swim with it for sometime you will know for sure
I just wanted to know more about the Manta rays in general, but it feels like this video left me with so much more. Their decent seemed so beautiful and fulfilling! Now interested in diving since I’m unable to swim properly. Might as well sink with an O2 tank and take in the views LOL
Just wow...
They are basically the angels of the ocean, wholesome big bastards.
