The zoom one: you can log in to a zoom meeting with multiple clones of your account. He probably had one account unmuted and the one he showed muted.
I was just going to comment this. You can log into a zoom meeting by calling into it with your phone so that's probably how he did it

I'm not sure whether that video was real or not, but I've seen a glitch in Zoom before where the mute didn't work every time. I've noticed it happening more on my phone (Android) than pc. Though they may have fixed the bug, as I've not seen it in a while.
Now if I need to be sure that I'm muted on pc I disable my mic in settings to be sure. While using the app on Android I'm careful even if the icon indicates that I'm muted.

If it’s real it’s rare for teachers to do that. I’ve been in like a dozen zoom classes and have zoomed several times while on the toilet. If the teacher could’ve heard the suffering going on into my toilet then they would have called an ambulance any of the dozens of times I’ve done it
