The Manix 2 is one of my favorite designs & I've held this one a couple of times at the Spyderco Factory Store, just haven't bought one yet. I'd love a black bladed camo g-10 version!

I bought this knife 10 years ago. I actually wanted the Manix II ,but all the had was the XL so I bought it not really wanting it. After I used it for a couple of weeks I fell in love with it. This knife rocks it's the most awesome tool I own and use

Perfect. I have not gave it much of a work out.I have been carrying upper coat pocket on colder times.Jeans right pant ok.Also carry lge Inkosi or Griptallion
The g10 manix 2 has t8 pocket clip screws. The XL has t6’s?

The handle is bigger. The cutting edge is almost the same on the pm2. The Shaman is the better option, imo.
It's a little smaller than the Yojumbo.
Native Chief is a great EDC full size knife. It’s thin and easy too carry. Never had a manix 2 xl. Do like big blades but this never appealed to me. Good video
Nice! Yes this is a tank, but not really an EDC friendly knife. Maybe if you are in the military

Sure it's longer, but the Manix 2 XL is a lot bigger than the Chief.
The Manix 2 XL is way bigger in hand (and pocket) than it's specs lead people to believe.

The reg size Manix in g10 is highly jimped, too much so in my opinion. Appears to be a family fault. Just because it is big doesn’t make it tactical
The Manix 2 XL would excel as a tactical blade.

If you think that's big, try the police 4, Tatanka or K2. Manix xl is hardly anything
