    Congrats on the 500
    Enjoying this shorter format much better than those 1hr videos.
    I ordered a freewheel and tool for my H6 MAX as I don't like ghost pedaling in top gear in PAS 2 being 18-19 mph...hoping this will get me into the low 20s which is what I like to ride at.

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Thank you. Yes, you will like the freewheel change. The neat thing is you can always downshift and get back to stock if you want to when needed. I will be doing some more experimenting with my chainring, that should be fun.
      Yeah, I think the shorter format is better for me the editor and for those watching as well, thanks for your input on that ; )

    I have been trying to ride my new bike every other day or so. What I have noticed is that I can use PAS3 under assisted pedaling for a while but it's not easy keeping up after a while. I would imagine putting on the free wheel will help with that. I see you on the Jumbo with a nice cadence traveling upwards of 28mph. It must be thrilling to still feel the bite of the human drive train at that speed!!! Happy Escalating !

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt  Před 2 měsíci

      Yeah the freewheel change would likely allow you to stay in the pedals for pas 3 and 4. Of course the more you ride the easier it will become. Yeah, it is fun staying in the pedals all the way up. The best way I can describe it is walking up a moving escalator or walking on the moving sidewalk at the airport. You are putting forth an effort, but the result is way more than expected ; )

    I have the H7 and the H8 and I had my eyes on the Jumbo since it was introduced. Your reviews are some of the main ones that will make my decision. Thanks for the videos and keep up the good work.

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt  Před 2 měsíci +1

      The Jumbo is a sweet ride, my only complaint is the small display and not being able to figure out the trip. Other than that, I love the bike. It is more balanced than my H8 which has my extra battery on the back. Thank you for your comment and thanks for watching. I hope to rack up the miles as my back gets better and the weather turns warm ; )

    This is what I found. Enter the ODO Reset menu and press and hold the '+' button according to the
    prompts on the interface to clear ODO, TRIP, AVG, and MAX speed records and
    prompts that the clearance is successful. Hope it helps

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt  Před 2 měsíci

      Yeah, I tried that and ended up resetting my odometer. There is no Trip, avg or max listed only the odometer. It is like they forgot to program it in. Thanks for trying to help though : )

      @papablueshirt When I get home for work, I will dig through forms for a couple of hours to see if i can find a solution.
      I'm trying to decide if I want to get the philodo jumbo or end up getting the Eahora Romeo II

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt  Před 2 měsíci

      Thanks for your help. I did find by looking at a different bike that had the same display that the trip only goes to 655 km and then it resets. Which would be 407 miles. Spent the better part of my ride one day trying to figure out how I reset it by accident, turns out it just rolled over 407 and did it by itself LOL
      Does the Romeo have the motorcycle type seat, if so I wonder how comfortable it would be for long rides. My EB9 has the same style of seat and there is no adjustment. It would be real hard for a tall person to pedal. I can do it by sliding back, but it can be kind of a rough ride at times.

    • @qumaly22
      @qumaly22 Před 2 měsíci

      No problem, I am still on my original. ECOTRIC Fat Tire back from 2021. It is time for an upgrade. I roll it over twice.
      Yes, Romeo has a motorcycle type seat, but the Juliet has a removable seat post.

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt  Před 2 měsíci

      Yeah my Ecotric turned over at like 6213 because that is 10k km, it happened one day and I thought, what in the world. Where did my miles go. I finally figured out what happened LOL. I think I would lean towards the removeable seat post as I am not giving up my suspension seat LOL

    Papa...I'm liking what I see...dual motors...dual suspension...dual batteries...does it have dual controllers? Please say yes.

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Yes, I believe it does. They are located between the pedals. I took the cover off and saw two boxes, but have not pulled them out yet. I assume they are the controllers as they look identical : )

  • @justinwhite2951
    @justinwhite2951 Před měsícem

    Have you ever had issues turning and throttling the dual motor? Someone said you can't do that on dual motor.

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt  Před měsícem

      When you are moving it is not an issue, the only time it can be is when you are turning around. The Jumbo has an on/off switch, so it is not much of an issue. I usually only use the AWD during offroad or hill climbing. I call it my hill climb button. It is so nice to power up a steep hill and be gaining speed instead of slowing down. It can be scary when you forget and leave it on as it will walk off from under you [I do a lot of one handed riding], so I have learned to turn it off before parking my bike. I love my AWD bikes I have 4. They each have their own handling characteristics that you get used to while riding. They are a blast, hope that helps : )

  • @rev.williamleistritz2893

    When both batteries are full,why does the battery bar have a gap on the right side.

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt  Před 6 dny

      The little battery indicators are notorious for being not very accurate. You can set it to show percentage. After a while you get to figure out how far you can go. When it turns red, it means you have used 1/2 of each battery, so you have one full battery left. When it starts flashing you have about 10-12 miles at most. : )

  • @LetArtsLive
    @LetArtsLive Před 2 měsíci

    If that's the only thing wrong that's no big deal really take a picture of how many miles when you start when you are writing do you use both Motors always? Cuz I know if I had one I w o u l d only use one motor unless I need the other one going up hills. I never heard of range anxiety until I got an e-bike what until I get my leg fixed and get help I can't pedal it.. one thing I don't like I think is the h u m b throttle but you could change it Maybe my problem is my bike is way too big the ecotric hammer and then when I stop I fall down sometimes and if I fall on my bad leg to the left oh it hurts but I keep going it makes me free it has 1300 miles and no real issues except I think the wire to the motor is not big enough so if you're going up a really Steep Hill it will shut down...

    • @papablueshirt
      @papablueshirt  Před 2 měsíci

      Yeah, they are just minor irritations. I usually only turn the front motor for hill climbing as there is really no need during normal riding. Re throttle: This has cruise control, so that is nice. Glad to hear you are still riding : )
