How to make PIONONOS DE SANTA FE

In 1897, Mr. Ceferino Isla, creator of the well-known bakery CASA ISLA, (Santa Fé -Granada) created these pastries as a tribute to Pope Pius IX (Pío Nono). Today, the fifth generation of this family of bakers, descendants of Ceferino Isla, after 126 years of history, maintains the original recipe of the Piononos.
Today I want to share this original recipe with all of you, so that you can enjoy this incredible sweet at home; but if you go to Granada, ask where CASA ISLA is.
