unless they have a isolation transformer and are not grounded to anything that's deadly since the voltages inside a TV are dangerous EVEN when unplugged. Wouldn't want them to end up in the morgue.

So for example that TV may have been made in 2001 but it's parts are from 1998

As a CRT enthusiast, I find these videos oddly satisfying and hilarious. They are quite durable compared to LCDs.
P.S DO NOT DESTROY A SONY TRINITRON.
Also dont destroy a CRT Indoors. They are filled with mercury and up to 8 lb of lead in some of the larger models
