Honestly watched a bunch of guides, but yours is the first that says you dont HAVE to woox walk, which i know is silly to have to say, but after watching this ive gone 7 in a row without dying (which is good for me). I still woox, but if i cant find a good line, i just try and relax untill an opportunity presents itself. That really made everything else come together. Thanks man!
Good advice, like any boss, you can just prioritise staying alive until your comfortable with other mechanics. I think I was at about 50-100 kc till I even tried woox wasn't really proficient till about the 300 kc. 3 tick music from Spotify seemed to help me.
The protect from missiles (ranged) is the correct prayer when using ranged. As it's the more common and accurate attack. However, as this is a melee guide, you can use Bandos or Justiciar armor, the magic attack rips through and you have very high ranged defence. So, the correct prayer is magic said in the video.
@@QuickOSRS No, the problem is that the ranged attack not only hits higher (about twice as hard as mage attack) but also is more likely to hit for players using range. The commenter is clarifying that mage is still better to pray because of your increased range defence as a result of the melee gear.
@@QuickOSRS people just dont understand dragonfire m8..... people saw a (crossbow) guide years ago and it said pray range so people think its simple the case that vork = pray range and dont think about any further.... =D
You need 50con to start ds2 and only lvl 30 con to move your PoH to relleka, you are wasting a spot/gp buying and using waterbirth tabs just change your house to relleka and go out the portal and boom a few paces away from money dragon, ring of dueling though is op for not having the con.
Very nice guide! I read on the wiki that you can offset his melee attacks by attacking on a different cycle than him. That seems to work for me - do you have any experience with that, or do you just facetank it?

Just from my experience, I really recommend not doing melee Vorkath until you have either a Fang or a DHL. Hasta is just too weak and as a result your kills with it will be 5 minutes or so. When I switched from hasta to fang, my kill time went down one and a half minute on average.

On my first ever Vorkath fight during DS2 keep panicking on acid and keep forgetting about the disable prayer and im still on my fifth death With low armor and DHL+salve
You can legit just click as many tiles down the row as you want and then on the opposite end before you hit poison. Clicking right next to you just leaves you vulnerable.
is this doable with all the potions you mention, nieztnot helm, obsidian chest/legs, dragon boots, barrows gloves a z hasta, dragon deffender, salve ei, brimstone ring, dragon slayer 2 cape, a blessing, and the staff/runes? stats are 80 melee 81 str 71 def 82 hp. just want my 50 kc for the head so i can get my avas and dont mind 1 kill per trip runs. ranged didn't go well, and i take zero avoidable dmg
i have allo f this minus dragon lance, would zammy hasta work here ? as cant currently afford dragon lance unless i want to sell bank and for bit niche item to me feels very off.

There's a bot farm at Nex in GWD, killing Blood Reavers for the stackable Blood Essence. They leave any other drop. Most seem like legit accounts (or that they once were), but they don't respond to anything you say. They've gotta be making bank
The vertical fireballs can only be avoided by stepping 2 tiles away from them. If they hit you they will always insta kill you, if they hit the square next to you they will deal massive damage (like 50/60).
@@OMGscrotum 2 kills per dose is only with a dhl. With a more midgame setup it's like 1.5 kill per dose, which is substantial imo. It's still worth it tho, especially since melee is relatively cheap compared to ranged (dragon bolts are expensive).
This guide is absolutely horrendous, he doesnt even know what runes to bring for crumble undead and doesnt talk about how to hit him during acid phase. Watch something else if youre trying to learn

Waterbirth Island teleport is a faster way to teleport to Vorkath if you don't have Fremmenik Sea Boots 4.
Lunar isle teleport > use bank > talk to anyone and get sent to relleka docks.

Without a dragonfire shield, yes. But since you can get two kills per dose it's really not a lot of money.
