highly suggest bowfa only method with thralls. Very laid back, especially now that you have rigour.

don't know if you've ever tried zulrah.
to start just go in with nothing and mark the tiles.
i prefer a mage and range switch but you could do mage only if you want.
don't forget the recoil ring and/or ring of suffering turned on.
it takes a few deaths, don't feel pressured just learn at the start.
i highly recommend downloading the zulrah rotation picture and putting it in view in a corner.
eventually you start to learn the patterns and it becomes predictable/second nature.
you have until 50 kill count before retrieving your items costs anything, and after 50 kill count it costs like 150k each death.
Zulrah is fun! and will teach good mechanics for Raids and higher tier content!
i also highly suggest if you have not done already, to start using the F-keybindings to swap from inventory to prayer and vice versa.
in OSRS itself you can only bind them to the F keys at the top of your keyboard but with Runelite you can also swap them to other keys.
also prioritize Prayer swapping - Movement - Attacking.
if you need to heal and you also need to move you can do both by first moving and quickly eating while your character runs.
same goes for swapping gear, the more things you can do whilst moving the better, as the more ticks and time you can spend on hitting the boss.

Zulrah kinda fell off in terms of money making for mains from what I can tell (the wiki has it listed at 1.1m if getting 20 kills per hour, which is pretty pitiful for a pvm boss by today's standards), but for irons it's obviously still great.
Even for Ironman, what’s the point? Apart from having to do it for scales.

Tips for beginners - Dont buy zulandrah teleports, they are not worth it just use your fairy ring its slightly less kills per hour, with alot less supply costs.
If you have really good ranged gear (bowfa / Tbow) you only need that, dont worry about bringing a 7 way mage switch, ive got 50s PB with just Bowfa only.
Use Thralls / Vengence, he was on Arceuus spellbook but never used Thralls.
1100 kc here on my iron, only one drop at 703kc magic fang. Got tired of grinding for serp and blowpipe so am currently at corrupted gauntlet at 49 kc and one armor seed so far

I did only a few Zulrah kc and had the epiphany that most of the money being made from zulrah is literally just the teles back to zulrah if not a unique. Which is funny to think about
Western Provinces Elite Diary gives you one free resurrection a day as well.
You can make more money at fever spiders lol. Only reason to do zulrah if you want pet or mutagen or are an iron.
Do you think killing Zulrah with Atlatl and Warped Sceptre for irons is worth it? Don't quite yet have SOTE unlocked but have 17kc on zulrah with those items. Continue? grind for sote?

Bowfa is good for zulrah to the point you can use full crystal even without head and camp bowfa for easy chill kills.
Bowfa is great for everything so its probably better to try getting bowfa if you have the stomach for the grind

do you have the stats to make the blowpipe and/or helmet and fang?
if you as an iron currently can't craft them to start with your grind isn't going to do anything.
if you CAN go do zulrah.
if you can't go do sote for more experience quest points and resource areas.
what makes completing SOTE so good is that The Gauntlet gives a lot of different types of items and participating in the gauntlet is always 100% FREE.
it IS a no safe death for Hardcore Ironman tho.
Vorkath is better for beginners. More consistent kills and pretty profitable
The item tags hurt to look at lol. No reason to not be using bowfa
If you're willing to use runelite along with bank tags, tile markers or npc indicators, why not use something that creates switching easier?
Honestly right now you can make more money killing fever spiders. It’s about 2 mil per hour but you don’t have to use any supplies 😂

With Fire Wave or Fire Surge you can do 50% extra damage on every phase with no switches. Project rebalance

Mage only has always been viable using a toxic trident but now you only need Fire Wave

I enjoy zulrah but unfortunately dead content. Learn muspah instead, such a better money maker. After new update zulrah helper plugin got changed and is now wrong after green melee phase
