- Making money while skilling is something that has slowly been disappearing from oldschool runescape. Thanks to PvM, the majority of skilling money makers have been devalued over the years.
That said today I am going to show you the best and most profitable skilling methods that still exist in osrs. Many of these will have reasonably high requirements, as to avoid the rampant botting issue, but some are still very accessible to mid levels. I will be going over 10 of the most profitable skilling methods. I have used most of these mehods, and a few I have used all the way to 99.

My favourite skilling gains was fishing back in the day. Hit 21m xp by hand fishing swordies and sharks. Best part of my childhood 😂

Loved the vid! just btw an easier way to time humidify and plank make, stay on magic screen the whole time and turn on inventory viewer! then its easy to watch it, opening bank automatically goes to inventory. that way you dont need to press any hot keys for this!
Another good method is crafting redwood birdhouses. It requires 90 crafting which is kinda steep but you can make about 700k an hour with current prices and its also way more afk than tanning hides with magic. The only downside is the birdhouses sometimes take a while to sell but so far they haven't taken more than 3 hours to sell. You also get okay crafting XP as well.
while casting Humidify, the white lightning flash animation above your sprite is the indicator that the animation is done
For soft clay, I usually don't bother with checking my inventory. I check for a point in humidify's animation, I believe it's when the cloud begins to actually rain. Then I bank and start again without ever touching my f keys.
After you cast, you can spam the bank. If you want to be more efficient, you can bank on xp drop.
Do you find this is actually a good moneymaker anymore? I bought 1 clay for 97gp, 1 astral rune for 57gp (so 154gp cost in total), then sold the soft clay at 137gp. Seems like a loss now? I guess it's just changed since the video was released...

I recently started my theiving grind and was at vyres from 82-85 managed to get lucky with a blood shard drop! Highly recommend it to anyone looking to do theiving. If you intend to do vyres I suggest using the house to the right if the entrance of the sepulchre, there is a wine spawn which can significantly extend trips by using the redemption method and chugging that afterwards

The elf south of the house portal never leaves his house, giving him a roaming range of 2x2 tiles.
I got Rocky from doing Elves from 85-99! Also ran over to vyres and got lucky after about 90 minutes getting the blood shard drop from them! Was finally able to afford the Bowfa to start a rebuild and boss now!
I spent weeks getting my quest cape purely so I could finish Song of the Elves to thieve elves, my 12th successful pickpocket was an enhanced crystal drop. Love pickpocketing elves lol
I got spooned Rocky doing Pyramid Plunder aiming for a scepter that I never got.
Since then I've gotten to 535 kc on wintertodt and counting. Around 450 or so I started doing solos. Any day now I might get the pet I actually want to have...

with the humidify you dont need to change from your spellbook ever, just wait until you see the flash of lightning or hear the sound of the thunder then bank, when you close the bank it goes back to the spellbook :)

I never knew how rare that pet is, I’m kind of a noob but have 63 thieving and got rocky as my first pet! I thought rocky was one of the most common pets? Obviously I’m not sure though

@@rampartj1843 I trained it off and on and took a big break from runescape around halloween to make a costume, so it's hard to gauge, but if I only count the time i was training, maybe two weeks total-ish, playing after work?
With seed box in inventory xp caps at around 100k/hr xp at master farmers
can you do this for ironmen too? One of my favorite money making methods as an ironman is charging battlestaffs for crafting/magic xp and 2k profit per alch

grow your own snapdragon, get or buy red spiders eggs, make super restores. gives great farm and herb xp along with great gp. best way to 99 herb also

Pro tip, just play LMS. its free, fun and you print money even after a day of practice. I can make 2m an hour and I am by no means a great pvper and the switching, tick timing and praying makes me inifinitely better at pvming too

Skilling ain't profitable as it was before but it's still pretty good money going along with progressing your accounts levels

maybe a stupid question but how do you make a one click on the dragonhide so you get iventory full / and how do you deposit invenory without the cashstack and the nature runes and astral runes then ? sorry i am kinda noob
2: remove all coins nats and astrals, fill bank space with fillers, they wont bank until fillers are removed.
fwiw you dont need 74 mining for zalcano, you can start it at 70, when you finish SOTE, and actually on leagues you can do it at literally any mining level, but it does suck at the very low ones

@@NahBNah The worst part is the boss fight of Sins of the Father required to enter. It's a very safe activity that will only ever deal a couple of HP to you, and you can teleport out if needed. After a short while you can get a ring which negates damage, and then you're completely safe to learn.
My recommendation is to pull up a guide, learn how it works, watch someone go through the first floor optimally, and then keep trying the first floor until you've got it down, then the second floor, etc.. I keep the metronome plugin on and in the middle of my RuneLite client to help with timing the ticks on the flame traps, and the player true tile indicated plugin to make it clear where my character is located. You'll pick it up quickly and it's much more engaging agility activity than rooftops.
I’ve been hard stuck 2-6 mil for the past 3 months of playing. From spending gp on skill lvls and buying bonds lol
This had me a little disappointed too for awhile but I think that’s just how the game is supposed to be I doubt someone with max cash stack really having all the much fun playing
Stop buying bonds. Work for 5 hours irl and pay for a year membership for your favorite game
I used to slave away every 2 weeks for bond money. Not worth your time, enjoy the game!
@@taabishsyed8889 This. Once I stopped buying bonds, I quit having to immediately sell slayer loot. Getting to let it stack up in the bank made me both more happy with the slayer skill, and increased my bank value pretty quickly.

One of the best decisions of my life was making a level 3 skiller. I found a nice clan with a youtuber, made some new friends, and all my sustain is from skilling. After combat maxing my main, it all got so boring and I missed the feeling of grinding skills for something meaningful.
Maybe grind a skill in your actual life

Ya I love the idea of taking down big baddies for unique rewards but when they drop an hours worth of magic logs or Flax really kills the hype seeing as how I've spent months chopping down magic trees in order to be able to afford the gear to take down these bosses.
@@eurosonly Exactly, it kills skilling. Like it makes sense to drop related resources, say like if Sarachnis dropped a bunch of red spiders eggs or something, but when a demon bear drops 60 coconuts its kinda weird
Runescape is basically Raidscape with all the skill items being devalued (Sad face)
random is random, but my worst pickpocketing streak is going over 2k pickpockets for the enhanced crystal teleport seeds, and the absolute worst was when i did over ten-thousand (!) pickpockets from the vyres before i got my first blood shards, so always be mindful of your methods, or how insane/sane you are
you forgot the quest requirement for humidifying clay, which is a fairly steep requirement. that's the sole reason why I haven't been able to do that method.

Click banker when xp drop floats up and hits the top xp tracker thing, dont swap around the inventory in my opinion

Boss dropping hundreds of resources per kill, that would have taken significantly longer time to gather with skills, really devalues gathering skills. Why spend 30 minute gathering and banking ores or logs, when you can get hundreds of it from a 3 minute boss kill.
Not to mention that people are going to just start skipping the skilling grind and buy gold on black market sites to get needed gear for bosses and just do those as the main game play experience.
Can we get an update on this? A lot of the moneymakers in here have been destroyed by now due to new content releases sadly.

Heavily impossible to get a bond on ftp now prices on most shit have dropped so much and bond prices have exploded so insanely, genuinely just a waste of time at this point. We from a minor chore to a massive slog through waist deep sewage.
I did the humidity spell technique for a few days. It's risky because Noone buys the damn clay. It took weeks to sell 10k.

It’s not that i dislike pvm. Literally getting my first vorkath kill and my fire cape are 2 of my favourite moments from playing this game, but the reality is that runescape has like 16 non combat skills and all of them are useless except agility. They don’t necessarily have to be super profitable, but so many skills are just dead content aside from diary rewards. Woodcutting, fishing, mining, herblore, smithing, etc. All of these are skills you only level for quests and diaries. There is no merit in training them for any other reason.
Try playing Ironman, then they Are all usefull

The only ones you'll find are ones who target to scam returning or new players. I'd stay away from any newbie friendly services you might come across. The wiki and Google are your best friends.

So to make money your skills have to be 70-90 pog
70 isn't too hard tbh, do some questing or just spend some time focusing on that, maybe afk things on mobile and you'll get there in no time :)
Best thing you can do after getting membership is making ultracompost at ge.
Once you make 450k gp daily, start grinding hunter to be able to do bird houses and chimchompas to replace the previous money method.
You can start grinding farming to farm toadflax and jute, and make ultracompost on the farming bins, to have another money maker method.
You can do blast furnace BUT it have some requirements and it takes too much time to get a coal bag, only start there if just want smelt iron ( that dont require a 17 hour grind to have a coal bag to smelt anything above steel).
After these, only then you can start enjoying gilenor.
Forget about everything else, the MOST IMPORTANT thing is FIRST secure your daily money maker, exploration cames second.
If you want to grind some umprofitable skills, remember that some f2p methods are good exp and you dont need sacrifice membership days (450k daily) in the gring, like: salmon fishing/cooking, woodcuting and droping logs, power mining iron in Al kharid, making wine, smithing platebodies. Train these after your membership runs out and you have money to buy another bond.
Dont buy expensive gear, even sell your crappy rune gear to secure buying a bond if necessary.
Only when you can buy your second bond you can say you left f2p.
Playing this game with a 'money making' mindset is so miserable to me tbh. Like even when I was selling barb assault leeches for money, somehow I hated it. And yet I loved logging in to playing the minigame for FREE lol

While high alching only earns around 600k an hr, I usually high alch and beg for 500k at the same time and hop worlds after one or two donations. This for me has earned me around 60 mil in around 5 days and based on the hrs I play within those 5 days, I averaged around 4-6 mil an hr.
