    Interesting video. I've been watching a few of these videos. I do a lot of beach driving on soft sand. Something that wasn't mentioned about leveling kits is that they increase your entry and exit angles on ruts and also make it less likely to bottom out. I put a 2" levelling kit onto My Mitsubishi Triton front and back and it made a huge difference to off road performce by adding ground clearance at the front and back. Levelling kits are not just for cosmetics.

    I have a 2015 ram four wheel drive that I'd would just like to level. I am considering front spacers but have been told something like Bilstein 5100's would be a better option. I do not off-road and truck will barely even see gravel. Im considering going with spacers for that reason but would like a more professional opinion. By the way your videos are awesome! I recently bought a 2019 Tundra Crewmax Limited. It’s my daily commuter. I don’t plan to do a bunch of off road. I would occasionally like to tow a Travel Trailer. I wanted to change the factory shocks with TRD Pro Fox Shocks, not sure if I should get the coil over with reservoir. I think a leveling kit is best but I wonder the just changing the shocks with add the lift I want.

    On a 2000 f150 3,5 spindles and 2” block on the rear can be a good lift?

    • @ShockSurplus
      @ShockSurplus Před rokem

      lift spindles are the best, they dont affect the shock travel and other geometry in the front

    Was the black Tacoma the you showed on this video a lift or leveling. Do you recommend one over the other?

    Ive been watching ur channel since january when i got my first truck i got a 2007 NBS crewcab silverado i think its time to level my truck ive dont alot of research and im undecided if i should get the rancho quicklift front shocks and rancho Rsx9000 on the rear or the pro comp 2.25 leveling kit that included both upper and lover spacers so my cv angles would not be stressed which would you recommend thanks for the help:)

    • @CustomOffsetsTV
      @CustomOffsetsTV  Před 5 lety +1

      Tough call, both good choices! If you had to choose between the 2 i would go with the Pro Comp kit because it is a little more friendly especially on the angles and you would also get some good ride quality out of it as well

    So can you put leveling spacers in the back too, let's say for a supercar like a lambo and just get a bigger tire as well cause some countries have horrible roads and plenty speed bumps ?????

    Would 33s look and fit good on a 3in lift 2006 Silverado crew cab 2wd? Or is the 4.5 lift a better choice, I can’t decide.

      We dont do exhaust systems, best bet would be to check with your local shop or friends/forums and see what other people have done.

    Question for ya! Or anyone who can give input... 02 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4, I have the rough country 1.5-2.5” levelling kit with 3” rear blocks. I’ve got 33s on 20” chromes, is there anything I can do ontop of this besides a body lift to get like an extra inch or two lift? Besides buying a whole new kit. The current setup only has new keys, and blocks in the rear btw... can I get a shock spacer kit or different control arms?

    • @CustomOffsetsTV
      @CustomOffsetsTV  Před 5 lety +1

      Besides a body lift we don't recommend stacking any other kits. You safest option would be to just order a larger kit. Check out our suspension kits here!

    I have a 2017 Tacoma. Would I need any additional parts if I'm lifting higher than 3 inches? I keep hearing how you need to install relocation brackets and drop brackets but I'm not really familiar with what that is can anyone explain or is there a video on that?

    • @ShockSurplus
      @ShockSurplus Před rokem

      if you go 3" or higher on the front shock tower, its advised to get new upper control arms for alignment, and to allow for the full cycling of the suspension while offroad.

    If I just install a lift kit on my 2017 Ram 1500, will it effect me when I'm towing my 25 ft ultra light Travel trailer as far as tongue weight and keeping my trailer level. I have a weight distribution hitch.
