      @@SweetArtOfCake Just wanted 2 give u a quick update! I tried this recipe a couple days ago & OMG!! It worked AMAZINGLY! The only difference I did was baking it? I have no luck with that unfortunately! But I had more than enough time to let it "air-dry" overnight instead. I did this over 2 nites with reapplying the mixture again 4 strength. I've used "proper" cake lace mixture before & cudnt get the rite "feel" of it at all? Just wasn't what I wanted. This recipe turned out PERFECTLY!! (And my hubby's happier that it's sooo much cheaper too!😁Lol!) It is more superior in flexibility & texture with the rite amount of elasticity. And it tastes better! Plus, I know EXACTLY what's going in it too. I honestly cannot thank you enough! I'm making a VERY special cake as a surprise & it's going to look fabulous now I've found this! U have a VERY happy subscriber! Many, MANY thanks..
      Kel..xxx

    • @ModernmythAngel
      @ModernmythAngel Před 4 lety +2

      @@meeraahmed4437 Hi there! I got it rite 1st time! Followed the instructions completely all the way. It came out brilliantly! The only thing I didn't do was 2 "bake" it. I left the mat/lace out 2 dry overnight. That worked so much better 4 me!😉
      Ps: I did try to "bake" the lace, but here in the UK, my oven unfortunately doesn't go down low enough to the recommended temperature? I DID try it..but my lace came out brittle & broke! Hence why I preferred to dry the lace overnight. You'd definitely need to do 2 "coats" though to give it more "strength" - as directed from @Sweet Art Of Cake. So I did it once, left it out on the counter overnight, then applied another "coat" straight on top of the one I'd dried & left it out overnight again. Come morning, the lace was absolutely perfect - strength, flexibility, elasticity, etc & it came out of the mat like a dream! (Altho I did do it slowly & gently! But the mat I used had a very delicate, finely detailed pattern, so..?!) It's been an absolute Godsend for me! It's ridiculously cheaper, it's more superior quality & it tastes better than the expensive cake lace mixes! AND the bonus is, you know EXACTLY wots going into it! I can't ever thank @Sweet Art Of Cake enough for this! Good luck & kindest regards..
      Kelly..xx
