i will try this. i have dried mine out thoroughly EVERY single time after use. i leave the door open AND remove the detergent/fabric softener drawer, yet there are still a few black dots/spots on the rubber seal. they aren’t raised, it’s as if someone took a marker to it. i have tried MANY times to get rid of them, unsuccessfully. 😫. i will never buy another front loader again
I have a front loader, thats all we do have in the UK but mine never leaves water in the washing machine. Makes me think your pump is not working properly
@@orscrub3161 must be an American thing, I can honestly say I've never heard water swooshing around like that ever in my drum. And if I did...i would of called a plumber 😄
@@Mivs123 the u s. is sold crappy detergent that ruins clothes and washers (which is deliberately done), yet they keep buying it. look at all the products they add in to counteract the detergent, and the hard water, oh and the list goes on. and everyone thinks its normal.

for front loader machines, leave the door open when not in use to help with ventilation

After you washed your clothes keep your door open and it won't grow mold it will dry out if you keep your door closed you will have issues
