Jesus's greatest gift is Himself. Through his death and resurrection Jesus redeemed a people for God's own possession.
If anyone has faith in Jesus, God owns them and they own God. The LORD is their portion.

also another point of this story is that they were trying to trap Jesus. No one that accused her was present, and in the hood jewish law normally people found guilty of these crimes would be shown mercy. This isn’t very accurate to the source material. The woman was never named, and Mary Magdalene was apparently already a disciple of Jesus by this point. Also, it never indicates if she actually was caught cheating or if her accusers were just fabricating the charges in order to put Jesus on the spot.
A fun fact about this story as well, it doesn’t appear in any of the oldest complete manuscripts of the New Testament that still exist today. It first appeared in the Gospel of John somewhere between the 3rd and 5th centuries CE, well after the New Testament was completed. It seems to have been a different literary tradition that was inserted into the original narrative of the Gospels by a scribe who was moved by the story’s message.

History lesson on ancient Hebrew culture. If you read the scripture, this woman was not Mary and the pharisees brought this falsely accused adulterer to Jesus to trick him into going against the law. It specifically says she was brought to trick Jesus and Jesus saw through the plot. When someone was stoned back then, the accuser threw the first stone because if they wrongly accused, then they would be murderers and would be judged by God. When Jesus said let he who is without sin cast the first stone, his intention was to show the fact that the man bringing the woman was doing so out of deceit and sin. This was never about the woman. The woman was innocent and there lots of small details that allude to this if you read this scripture. Research trial by god, note Jesus was writing on the sand, Jesus is holy water, and everywhere he stands it's holy ground. Jesus was judging her bu trial by God and deemed her innocent and saw through the rouse. This isn't about non-judgemebt though judging other people isn't always a good thing.

I'm not sure what makes you an authority over this but it doesn't matter. My source is simply studying Hebrew culture from professors in Israel who specialize in ancient Hebrew culture. Jesus never entrapped anyone. It was Hebrew culture at that time period, to force the accuser to cast the first stone. So when Jesus said, he who is without sin, cast the first stone, he is saying ok.....I know your are sinning because your falsely accused this woman......so he who is without sin cast the first stone. Basically saying your are sinners so chill out and let her go. He was never baiting anyone into a crime. These were cultural standard practices at the time and asking the accuser to cast the first stone was common practice. Jesus new how that situation would play out do you can't accuse Jesus of entraping and i never said he was entraping. But it doesn't matter. Not worth arguing over. We're both just normal people. No. They where simply doing the best they could given the current scientific data they had available. I don't think everybody tries to lie or are even lying. I think alot of people have very logical ways of looking scripture and sometimes ideas conflict. Both ideas can be 100% logical but which is correct? We don't know. And the person who is incorrect is not lying by definition as they in there heart believe their interpretation to be true and they are simply trying their best to understand. However, if they find an error in the logic in their interpretation, and they continue to teach I as doctrine, then yes they are lying. I feel like people lying about scripture is fairly rare. People can mislead with highly logical arguments. But most people are simply doing their best. Ide recommend seeing a phychiatrist and talking to then about how people lie about scripture. Not the Same Mary, first Mary was a common name then and this was the unnamed woman.
Erroneous portrayal of Mary Magdalene as a prostitute
The portrayal of Mary Magdalene as a prostitute began in 591, when Pope Gregory I conflated Mary Magdalene, who was introduced in Luke 8:2, with Mary of Bethany (Luke 10:39) and the unnamed "sinful woman" who anointed Jesus's feet in Luke 7:36-50.
Pope Gregory's Easter sermon resulted in a widespread belief that Mary Magdalene was a repentant prostitute or promiscuous woman.
Mary Magdalene from obligatory memorial to that of a feast, the only woman thus elevated outside of Our Lady and equal to the Apostles, shows that the Church's appreciation of her has increased.
She is acknowledged to be an “apostle to the Apostles” - as Cardinal Robert Sarah called her, the “Witness of Divine Mercy.”
The Gospel of Luke chapter 8 lists Mary Magdalene as one of the women who traveled with Jesus and helped support his ministry "out of their resources", indicating that she was probably wealthy. The same passage also states that seven demons had been driven out of her, a statement which is repeated from Mark 16. In all the four canonical gospels, Mary Magdalene was a witness to the crucifixion of Jesus and, in the Synoptic Gospels, she was also present at his burial. All the four gospels identified her, either alone or as a member of a larger group of women which includes Jesus's mother, as the first to witness the empty tomb and, either alone or as a member of a group, as the first to witness Jesus's resurrection.
This horrific mistake was Acknowledged many years ago, yet the damage has been done by a misogynistic person/persons.
Pope Francis took the biggest step yet to rehabilitate Mary Magdalene’s image by declaring a major feast day in her honor on 22 June. His 2016 decree put the woman who first proclaimed Jesus’ resurrection on par with the liturgical celebrations of the male apostles. The New Testament tells how Jesus cast demons out of her. She then accompanied Jesus in his ministry around the Galilee, before witnessing his crucifixion, burial, and resurrection in Jerusalem..

Actually most ancient manuscripts do not have this section in the gospel of John. In fact the Greek this section is more sophisticated like Luke’s gospel. I do believe the story is authentic, but does not belong in scripture. Most modern translations bracket this section.

And besides, Mary of Magdala was not that woman. Mary of Magdala belonged to the household of the apostle John, who was also called Lazarus. His sisters were Martha and Mary, his father was Simon of Bethany, who although healed of leprosy through Jesus, did not like him. This Simon of Bethany had another son, who was called Judas, who belonged to the sicarii (hence Iscariot), the hebrew assasin class, who was the 12th apostle and who wished Jesus to occupy the Judean throne and Revolte against the Romans and was dissapointed, when he did not do. For that he had not come.
Judas also loved Mary Magdalene, who was married to Jesus at the marriage feast of Kana. So he was jealous, too, although she did not want him. Simon did not like her, too.
It was his idea to get rid of Jesus. 😮
After the crucifixion of Jesus Judas had to face his Bad Karma. Itwould follow him up to the ends of the world. He knew, generation would curse him for those act of betrayal and could do nothing else than hung himself. Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.
Joseph of Rama Theo belonged to Jesus family, too. He was the cousin of Jesus mother Mary, hence, his uncle. He belonged to the upper class, you remember? They all were kingly princes. Jesus was the grandson of Kaleo pa Tara (you call her Cleopatra) and the patriarch of Jerusalem. Jesus was the last of the Pharaos. Study history. Herod knew, the throne belonged to Jesus.
John the Baptist was his Cousin. When the hords of Herod did not find the 2 yesr old boys they slew to death Zachary, father of John, infront of the altar. John was beheaded as an adult.
Anyone who tells you, bible stories are just mere allegories has absolutely no idea what's going on.

Also the "Virgin" Mary aka Hail Mary, also got pounded at point of time before giving birth to Jesus Christ. Immaculate pregnancy is a hoax. It must've been a Roman general or a slave squirting Jesus inside Mary, that the church never wanted to be known.
