YOU ARE MINE.” Wow, indeed, The Chosen perfectly portrays the character of Mary Magdalene, from being both troubled and sorrowful to becoming a redeemed woman found by Jesus. Can't wait for the continuation of her journey in Season Four and beyond!!!!

I love The Chosen’s interpretation of Mary Magdalene! Not only is she beautiful but they depicted her of having more wisdom than the 12 apostles. I pray to God everyday for a wife full of wisdom similar to The Chosen’s Mary Magdalene. 😌

Mary Magdalene is such an integral part of The Chosen story. So many beautiful scenes and messages of redemption and love. She has such wisdom. One of my fav scenes is "sometimes God sends a dove" with Matthew. ❤ Liz is so gifted! 🙌🏻

Mary's story is so many of ours. Regardless of who you are. And you feel that through her journey on The Chosen. From guilt and shame, to forgiveness, love and reassurance. Dallas, the other writers and Liz have all done a wonderful job with such deep, complex and relatable character.
😭😭😭😭 Isaiah 43:1 The Lord Himself showed me this scripture right before The Chosen came out. And Jesus called to Mary ai balled like a baby like I'm doing now!! It is ssoo precious..A GOD MOMENT!! THANKS, MR. JENKINS& EVERYBODY!!

Many times we hear of perfect casting, when describing a actor/actress and their performance. Elizabeth Tabish's portrayal of Mary Magdalene certainly fits the definition of perfect casting. She really makes you feel for the character. Sometimes it is hard to see past the beauty of an actress unless they truly can infuse their character with so much pathos that you look past the superficial. Tabish does just that. She really conveys the years of pain when afflicted with sin, the continuous struggle to overcome sin, and the tragedy of relapsing back into sinful behavior. The woman deserves an Emmy for her performance.
So very moving…. Crying again…so much like Mary…. Redeemed

We can all relate to Mary. We all have relapsing sins in our hearts but it’s God’s Love and Grace and our Personal Relationship with God that we will eventually overcome these entrenched sins.
“I’m doing everything I can day after day and I’m afraid I’m still broken. I worry I will never be enough.” Whew! Right to the gut! Yet, Jesus continues to pursue me. I’m in utter and forever in awe of Jesus’ love, mercy, and grace. Those of us least deserving of it and yet he continues to extend all the above to us. Thank you, Jesus! 🙏🏼♥️

One of my favorite prophets. One of my favorite verses. Second Isaiah... Isaiah 43:1 to be exact... But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, Jacob, and formed you, Israel: Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name: you are mine.
I will never read the Isaiah passage again without thinking of it personally. It was not just for Mary but for all who call upon the name of the Lord. Thank you Chosen for this beautiful storyline.

Tears. Every Time. Jesus is so good. This was such an important line of events to show, because we are all there. Our traumas often led us back into sin or bad habits. Jesus is always there with His Divine Mercy. ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥

When I saw the first episode of Season 1, I was in awe of Mary's redemption through Jesus! Suicide is not the answer when your feeling guilty or even just lonely! We should change our ways and always bring our emotions to him so that he may see us to his word!

I always thought that Mary's contributions were downplayed and somewhat ignored at the Council of Nicaea. It is so heartwarming to see her played with such dignity and as a valued member of the Chosen
