Getting Clean Water Access To An Entire Country! | Traveling To The Marshall Islands

- The Marshall Islands may be small in terms of land mass, but cover a massive area of the pacific ocean about half way between Hawaii and Australia. To say these islands are remote is an understatement. Traveling to these islands is difficult. The Republic of the Marshall Islands is one of the least visited countries in the world, but has an incredible, rich history! It was a humbling and amazing treat to travel there and spend a week exploring the atoll of Majuro. But most importantly to see, Kora In Okrane (KIO) deliver the final set of Sawyer Water Filters to the residents on the island RongRong and bring clean water access to the entire country!

I want to thank Sawyer for the opportunity to travel with them to the Marshall Islands and experience this incredible place!

Awesome work
Such a great work and a blessing to be a part of.
What a great trip!
So amazing!
Thanks Kurt!
Super awesome video! Thanks for doing this!
Thank you!
Sawyer for the win! I'm going to get more of these filters from them.
Such a great company!
Thank you for taking time out of your life to volunteer for this amazing program! Every human should have access to clean water, and I'm so grateful that Sawyer and people like you are helping to make it possible. ❤️
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing. What happens when the filter has reached its useful life? How do they get new filters.
These Sawyer Squeeze filters in some places have been in use for 12+ years. As long as they are properly cared for, cleaned, etc they will continue to filter 100,000+ gallons of water. But if a new filter is needed, the NGO would help them acquire a new filter.
What a beautiful video. We take so much for granted in our society. It’s important to take a step back and realize the things we have on demand are precious and rare for others.
Thank you, Jim!
What an amazing experience. Thanks for sharing it with us Devin. Good to see greatness happening.
Thank you, Stacy!
What an amazing adventure! Great work! Good job filming too, i know it can be hard to get good shots and craft a story when making a video isn't necessarily the main reason you are there!
Thank you! Yes, you're right! There was so much I captured that I wasn't able to share in this video, but so glad you enjoyed it! :)
I had the opportunity to talk with the Sawyer Foundation, and several other CZcams hosts who ahve traveled with Saywer to South America, the Middle East, and Africa highlighting the outstanding work of the Sawyer Foundation a few weeks ago at the PCT Days. I listened to how they have changed lives and heard stories of people my age - late 60's - who never saw clear water before using a Sqeeze. I learned that the donated cost of providing just one filter was very low. Being from Seattle I equated it to the cost of about two fancy coffee drinks or three cups of black coffee at my favorite coffee shop. Today Sawyer received another donation from me and I encourage anyone who watched this or any other video about the work of the Sawyer Foundation to click on the link, pass by that coffee stand a few times, make a donation, and know that you changed the lives of 2 or 3 families or perhaps 10-15 people for years to come by providing clean drinking water. Thanks Devin for putting this video out, for traveling so far, and for influencing a few folks to make a donatation.
Thank you so much, Chip!
