    I wish you at least tried to remove the display. The Samsung S3 was tightly bonded to the frame, and very fragile, but could still be carefully removed.

    Man, this is the most complex phone I have ever opened. The battery is wrapped by a clear plastic wrapping, there are tabs on the battery. As soon as you removed those wrapped tabs. The battery is free. Only the wrapping is attached tightly with the housing. Changing battery shouldn't too bad. But fixing it, don't even try, if you crack the screen, you will need to buy another one.

Yea my mo mshouldn't have gotten me tihs phone for my b-day in mid 2019, even though it was iterally 250 even with other stuff, good deal, even wit hteh phone's MSRP being 1200. the phone was extremely epxensive (at the time), now it';s goign for 100 - 400 used. Glad i Sitl lhave the warranty, since i bought it in a pool, thought it was suepr waterproof, like I showered with it a few times. Than kgosh the storage is backed up, si mcard and SD still working. The iPhone XS Max uses a 7nm chip, which is more energy efficient. That means that the efficiency of the chip, the OS, and the "smaller" battery should all be taken into account together.

  • @TheChemicalWorkshop
    @TheChemicalWorkshop Před 5 lety

    I have to disagree :(
    The expansion panels aren't asked but the phone so why a yellow minus?
    Also for 2018 it's good enough, considenring iphone and samsung and other devices beeing closed shut with very very hard repair i would give it at least a 5, maybe a 6
    It's not great but it's good enough (finding parts is another story tho)

    I don’t know what RED was thinking with this garbage phone, overhyped underperforming out of date at launch phone, why would they play with fire when it comes to their reputation...!? It’s using a tech that came out on the 3DS in 2011, and a year old SOC with a screen to body ratio that isn’t 2018 spec. I get that the industry changed while they were in development, but they should have seen it coming, that’s part of making a good tech product is knowing where the industry is headed in terms of trends, idk... this thing annoys me...
