This is great. Im about to have spinal surgery. my bed is memory foam which mean it curves around your body. it is kind of hard to get out of the divot normally let alone after this upcoming surgery. Any advice on that situation.

How do you roll over without a bed support? Do you perhaps grab the side of the bed?

You can, or many grab the sheets and pull. You can also add a bed ladder or pull strap that wraps around the edge of the bed frame.

Any issues if your feet won’t touch the floor when you sit up? I’m short (5’1) and our bed is on a bit of a platform…

It might be uncomfortable to have to slide forward, would you be able to add a step? I often find the long plastic exercise steps work really well to provide a platform to allow your feet to reach a solid surface.
