All the Wyatt videos have really hit me emotionally. From Bo's stuff that hit me as a younger brother who even over 40 still idolize his big sister, to being another guy named Tailor.
But this Rowan video 😢. I went through a stretch in the Army where I lost 3 critical family members in 4 or 5 years. 1 was my dad and the another was his older brother, so it was like losing my Dad twice. Between that and my PTSD I lost my ability to emote. My cousin died a month after my uncle (my first day back at work) and I couldn't feel sad, or anything really. I was numb and it scared me straight to therapy, it probably saved my life. I say that to say, I got exactly what Rowan meant when he said "numb" and it hit me like a truck. ❤

i'm under the impression that the reason why they're doing the vignettes is because wwe have the intention of correcting the mistakes they made with booking Bray as the Fiend. i love what they're doing so far. and since i know now that wwe is paying way more attention to details under HHH i have hope and patience

The Wyatt Sicks stuff has turned out to be such a beautiful tribute to Bray and his artistic vision. Very weird to me how many wrestling media folks are still looking for reasons to dislike the angle.

I am curious how the other members will connect with the audience. Especially Lumis...he never spoke before, so i wonder if he will now.
I would LOVE to see Rowan's Ramblin' Rabbit accompany Cross' Abby to the ring when she fights. The dichotomy between the two walking to the ring. Rowan intimidating the opposition (without doing a thing), while Cross already being intimidating in her own right would really put Cross in a huge position.
While I agree tears convey’s even more emotions I think he genuinely held back massive water works much like he was explaining how he handled the deaths of his brothers by holding back and hiding from the world

They started something with him twice, and both times it went nowhere. I hope to see Rowan get a singles push eventually.
@@Kfowlkes09 He was with the Wyatt's and that was great, but everything he did on his own meant nothing. He lost to the Rock at WM and it was a joke. Nobody cared about him and then he does this. More development and care in a few minutes. They had years and could never come up with this?

The last year ive learned when it comes to WWE ive learned to just let things play out..they have been so good with storytelling it's just amazing to watch..it's almost better watching it on TV then being at the arena
Imma need to hear Dave's reasoning on the in ring stuff after last night's RAW. I was also slightly hesitant at first but that segment last night was amazing. Bo's meniacle laughing and the cinematography was amazing
I think we should look at these promos similar to the J.R - Mick Foley interviews. True stories but in character.

The only person recently that I can remember, who can effectively cry genuinely when he’s doing their promos is Eddie Kingston. I’m sure they’re plenty of guys there who could do it, but there’s something specifically about Kingston when he does his promos and he gets so emotional about them that he brings out those tears and by God, I believe anything he says
There is a great acting tip. If an actor cries, the pressure is relieved, and the audience might sympathize, but that's it. If an actor almost cries, that pressure keeps building, and that often makes the audience cry and truly feel the emotion the actor wants to send out.

The storyline is basically that Bray’s spirit and his creations are helping Bo become a star. That’s a wildly bold story to do, and it’s getting massive reactions. So who cares what happens in the ring? This isn’t 1982 Memphis anymore.

You guys said you didn’t like the call out cause people should be afraid of these guys, but yet you want them to be human as well…they called out the “human” Bo Dallas and not Uncle Howdy, and it was the guys in the mask that destroyed the backstage area…so I could see being upset if he called out Howdy like wtf are you doing, but he did not do that!!!
I would also like to see VHS tapes on the rest of the Wyatt 6, but especially Nikki Cross. She’s been like the messenger so far when distributing the tapes. I’m definitely intrigued
The problem is going to be that they string these tapes out for another month to get through them and by the time they are done.....people will have become bored, kettle off the boil. They need to do them on Smackdown too in order to move the story faster [with regard to the taped interviews] on before people lose interest because as long as they are doing this they ARE NOT doing anything in the ring to justify any of it and hold the interest.

Dexter Lunis, Joe Gacy, and Nikki Cross will all have touching VHS tapes also well because all three of them have things to talk about Dexter getting released, rehire, and then losing his family, and Joe losing everything his spot on NXT, and his family leaving him. And then is Nikki who went throw a lot of different things in her career.
They haven’t really don’t much live in the arena though

that easily might have been the best promo we've ever seen/heard Rowan cut. Because there was that element of reality to a great deal of it.. Windham and Jon were his brothers in all but blood.. much like how Devon has to be to you Bully. he DIDNT have to fake a whole lot of those emotions

I think they need to dial the spookiness down a little bit. Make it more culty; the smoke, screen and blackouts can take away from it.

I have to be honest the live in ring stuff with the smoke, Nikki Cross coming out like a dead girl, and Bo just laughing in the ring isnt doing much for me atm, but those VHS tapes are phenomenally good.
Everything said- Hit the nail of the head- ONLY ONE thing i do have to disagree with and that is having to see Erick Rowan cry or at least to the context Bully Ray put it.
in hindsight now maybe that is meant in context for fans who follow wrestling on the surface and don't know whats going on.
Where I come from - I followed them all on social media and was given the glimpse behind the curtain of who they are outside of Kayfabe and watched the Bray Wyatt documentary which just as much showed everyone in that vulnerable manner, and just to get back to where im coming from in NOT wanting to see Erick crying in the manner Billy suggested, is if you go back to that Smackdown following the passing of Bray and you see Joseph Ruud aka Erick Rowan- that was a shell of a man at that time and place- visibly there on the outside but demolished in mind and spirit on the inside. He has spoken about Jon and Windham's passing in interviews outside but this was his first time asked about it ever since it all happened. He wasnt with the company when Jon passed and he was brought back in for this Wyatt sicks....
In my opinion, it wasnt as much as a character speaking but more so the man who plays the character Erick Rowan who has lost alot and IS the last surviving member of the OG wyatt family and for what its worth with him time in the company now and this angle I just hope he finds peace with himself
The problem with the wyatt 6 , is that once they get in the ring. The fans will see it just the same guys wrestling in Halloween costumes
The problem with the wyatt 6 is because they are wrestlers so undertaker kane bray wyatt i don't know if you noticed undertaker matches post american badass is the ring he acted like a normal wrestler for example when a person kicked out he would ask the ref if it was 3.
I think bully is right cause in my opinion they have already done all these video segments. Im honestly I interested to hear from dexter the most since his character was never really given a voice.

I think with these vignettes I have a feeling it’s to turn these ‘horror’ characters into REAL people.

This group is so interesting because they were all wasted talent, but at the same time they all lost family. Rowan lost the Wyatt Family, Nikki Cross lost SAnity, Dexter Lumis lost The Way, and Joe Gacy lost Schism.

I agree. The tapes have been award worthy. The in ring stuff isn't as real. Bo (and I hate them keeping that name) laughing as Gable beat him up is too supernatural. If he sold that more and then the lights go out and the others are in the ring would have been so much more real. To have them come down from the back is not real. They should have been right there for their leader/brother/family. They need to make them as real in the ring as they are in the tapes. Right now with the no-selling and the mosey to the ring... it's going to fall apart. The spooky 'everyone is blocking Gable's exit' stuff... ok. Nikki/Abby/whatever she is popping up next to the ring with security napping and the fog... ok. They NEED to do better with the in-ring stuff. Everyone's invested in the story, but the no-selling and laughing ring stuff so far has been too Fiend.

Would be really cool if the VHS tapes were recorded when Bo Dallas first got his hands on the other members… like these tapes we’re watching were actually recorded months ago and now what we see when they pop up live in the arena, is the result of his effect on them
Because there’s a bit of a disconnect between those VHS tapes and when they show up in the arena. On the tapes you can see their humanity but in the arena they pop up they move slow and weird… they’re scary. So what happened to them? Why are they so creepy and weird now when compared to how they come across in those VHS segments?

They do if you understand the message, bringing together lost souls or the forgotten could easily apply to the other three. Given lumis wasn't being used creatively, cross was also lost in the shuffle. Gacy fits the group of you followed his nxt and his greed for more power. So just let it play out
I am telling you Joe Gacy will be good, and Nikki Cross will be good. The one that is a complete unknown is Dexter Lumis. He doesn’t talk almost ever. How is it going to work. There is more layers in this than a croissant.

This is so interesting because I somehow feel the same way and I could never describe it. The live crowd I think, not only just me, are “disconnected” from them. You can hear it in the crowd. They get fantastic pops with the VHS stuff and the pre recorded segments. I do think they have some work to do. For me right now, in pro wrestling, I think the whole spooky mystical stuff has been done to death right now. It might be time to take it off TV for a bit because I don’t think Malakai is getting the same pops from his shtick either from live crowds.
