I never grew up in the age of the unaltered versions. I started watching the 2004 DVD special editions. I of course felt they were I inferior. I hated ALL the changes, but the Ian McDiarmid hologram was ok. But then I got the CBS FOX UNALTERED VHS trilogy. And I LOVED EVERY BIT of the UNALTERED VHS trilogy. In fact, I even recorded the VHS trilogy over onto DVD.

Does Vader use the force to move Han Solo in the restraint into the position to be tortured? I've heard this to be the case. Notice how Vader moves closer as Han is moved closer to the equipment to be tortured.
Is this the original Boba Fett voice? It doesn't sound like the Jango Fett voice which I hear many were upset about the removal of the original Boba Fett voice recording.
This scan grid device has prompted a lot of my superheroine torture fantasies, where I'm someone like Power Girl and I get captured and strapped to this machine by a supervillain who relentlessly puts me through multiple electroshock sessions (to interrogate me or for revenge or a mix of both).
Anyone who's looked into the production of these movies knows that Kershner was hired by Lucas to get across Lucas's vision and that he still called all the shots

Renegade Grindhouse looks fab. The shine on Vader's helmet is perfectly white.
I have to say that Grindhouse looks the best to me but I just love the blue tint on the BluRay releases
