LOL. You are mastering the youtube clickbait title. "Tractor not happy" in video "I'm still pretty happy". Thanks for the video. I'm purchasing a t264 here soon.
I just hit 100 hours on mine recently and my only problem or annoyance so far is my seat squeaks pretty bad when I'm on uneven ground or hit bumps and I start bouncing around. Also my back window leaks when I wash it but not when its rainning. Other than those 2 things it's been awesome.
I have a T503 and have to say I've liked it up to recently. Actually I still do, it's the customer service parts I'm hating. I've heard the horror stories but now I'm living them. My dealer closed a couple years after I purchased mine. Recently the ignition switch started acting up. It doesn't return to run properly leaving me without any accessories, (gauges, radio, air etc.). You can play with it and usually get it to come in but it's getting harder and harder, last time I started it after putting in a new battery it was near impossible to get engaged. I've got a list of four dealers within 250 miles of me none of whom even seem to care about selling a switch or helping a new customer. I have been left with the last one who told me they didn't have one, there's none in the parts warehouse, they will have to have shipped from South Korea, looking at maybe two months. No way of verifying so I could wait two months to maybe find out everything go lost in the mail. I don't know, the tractors are nice and you can save a lot of money but if you really rely on your tractor I don't know that any foreign made tractor especially a TYM is worth the money if their not going to back them and their customers up.
Blame a lot of not being able to get parts on liberal states. They shut everything down. Ports slowed back. Companies are trying to find alternatives to California ports. Bye California.
i have a 2020 and I haven't had any issues at all. I have 150 hours on mine and my dealer support is fantastic in Maine. maybe it's the heat causing the problem? I don't have to worry about heat at all LOL
I'm thinking of buying the Tym T574HC do you think I should buy the Tym. This will be my first tractor from my research I have came to the conclusion that Tractors are just really well built I think it's just not worth paying all the extra money for a color if ya get what I'm saying.
@@msanford75 I've found it to be an awesome tractor. There are some things in the design that stick out as not quite up to tractor par like using cables instead of steel rods and so forth. The engine and drivetrain seem to be very robust and it has plenty of power to work hard. The under side is quite vulnerable having a large pastic tank and a big hydraulic return line exposed , definitely have to be careful with what you get into. Overall its built as good if not better than some of the other Korean tractors I've been around.
I've replaced the headliner twice and it needs to be done again. I contacted the dealer in NC and now they are avoiding me. Other than that, not issues. 94hrs as of 6/15/20
I bought a T454, and itâs been back to the dealer 7 times, 8 counting now. Itâs a train wreck of problems. Now, after being deferred for 2 years theyâre telling me the AC problem Iâve had since day 1 isnât covered anymore. Check engine light on. Due to their proprietary OBD style reader, you canât even find out whatâs wrong with it, without taking it to the dealer. One episode after the next. Endless issues, some of them being the dealershipâs issue, some of them TYM. Currently working with TYM to even get them to honor their warranty, but itâs a nightmare. Avoid TYM at all costs. Mine has zero power, slow factory response and service sucks. Be careful what you buy. TYM is a nightmare when your tractor gets over 300 hours.
Over 100 hours, one tire has a tiny surface crack in the rubber, your headliner is loose in one spot, and you say you're happy with the tractor. Why does the title say "not happy"?
Because I take care of my stuff I don't abuse it that's why I'm not happy. If I was to work the shit out of my tractor And not take care of it like some people I would have no complaints
I got a 2020 394hst and i got 220hr on it regen light and low oil pressur came on and the tractor when on limp mode only rev at 2000 rpm the guy pass the scanner on it and find a i voltage on temperature sensor he change it and still the same problem after working 7h on it we find the problem water on computer conection and 3 other one clean and dry problem solve work like day one
LS makes all the CNH tractors under 80 hp. They may use a different engine and loader they have used LS exclusively since their own factory in Japan was destroyed by the earthquake and Tsunami, I think CNH even owns stock in them. They were kind of a hit and miss like these off breed tractors until that happened. Now they make as many tractors as Kubota I imagine. TYM makes tractors for competitors but they have no real constant connection to a name brands as others do. I think these TYM tractors are better than the small Hindu Massy Fergusson and Mahindra tractors. I looked at Kioti and their dealer network was sparse and many times it didn't look like they could really service them as was TYM. So I got a good deal on a NH workmaster nothing fancy just a tractor with real farmer tech support.
Mine was not inspected from the dealer it fell apart in front of my eyes bolts fell out two broke in the frame got it back from the dealer didnât get finished with a whole job and the engine started sputtering cut off let the bucket down it cranks for a minute and the check engine light comes and motor runs fine idk believe itâs a lemon

@@mrferrell425 absolutely. Bought a 1 year old, used TYM, T454. I purchased it because of the Yanmar Diesel engine, as well as the fact it was clean and we have a local dealer here to service it. Well, HUGE mistake. The local dealer, whoâs name I wonât mention on here, knew that the AC was not working when they delivered the tractor. They told me I have a 6 year warranty, with 5 years remaining so no big deal. Theyâd fix it the next go around. 3 months later, AC lost all coolant and during the summer, with ultra high humidity and temps, itâs impossible to use the tractor. So, I called for them to pick it up. They had the tractor for a month. Since they didnât have ability to repair the AC system, they sent it across the street to repair. Well, they said it needed the AC hoses, they were âon backorderâ from TYM and brought it back. Got the tractor back, with a temporary fix. They simply recharged the AC and it continued to slow leak. But, they sent it back with a check engine light on, and the tractor had absolutely zero power. Again, called them, they picked it up. They never called me for 2 years to repair the AC, instead, they simply recharged it again. Endless issues with the front wheel bearings and hub almost falling off the tractor, then recharging the AC, another check engine light with no power. On and on and on. Finally, frustrated with the AC unit, I called the dealer again to repair the AC because 2 years went by. They informed me that TYM would not cover the hoses now, because the tractor was now out of warranty and as they stated âTYM will not fix thisâ. They then told me it wasnât the hoses after all, but instead was the AC pump. They told me the part was $1200 and theyâd order it. Got the tractor back, only to find out, guess what? The check engine light on again because the AC repair company supposedly bypassed the DPF regen cycle 7 times again, locking the system up, requiring dealer service. Well, the dealer didnât keep their TYM contract up to date, and this was all part of my warranty. The tractor had zero, and I mean zero power. It would come off of idle, but would not accelerate. Iâd have to almost floor it, get RPMs above 2k, put the tractor in 1st or 2nd gear, of a 16 speed shuttle shift transmission just to drive around. They said they couldnât reset the codes, because TYM dropped them as a dealer and they wouldnât fix it for me. Meanwhile, TYM Corp office in NC was involved, because I was pissed. The tractor dealer I bought my T454, meanwhile, started telling me theyâd make me a deal on a McCormick tractor which was slightly bigger and wouldnât repair my TYM. They offered me the crappiest deal ever, $49k for a 48hp McCormick with the same features, enclosed cab with loader. I told them Iâd probably think about it, if they would have handled my TYM and all warranty repair different. TYM corporate recommended I contact another dealership, then informed me that due to my issues as well as other customer issues with my local dealer, they revoked their TYM dealership but I was the final straw. I informed TYM that kinda screwed me, and itâs not acceptable because now I have to find out how to take my tractor to a dealership which was 1-1/2 hours away. In the end, I ditched that tractor. The dealership who was going to fix my old TYM T454, made me a deal on a Cummins based full cab tractor with substantially more power, no computer to require this regen thatâs been a major issue and they made me a deal I honestly couldnât refuse, giving me almost original sales price for my old tractor and the remaining amount due, was probably less than I would have spent repairing the old tractor. Now I have a new, 1 hour tractor, that I have only put 4 hours on the ticker, due to it being winter here. I upgraded my tractor substantially and it still has that amazing new car smell. Iâve done some bush hogging around the property here, as well as some minor loader work so far and it seems to have 3x the power of the old T454. This tractor I have now is their T494, with upgraded loader. It has the TX57, instead of the TX55 loader. Inside itâs awesome. I didnât plan on buying another TYM, but honestly all my issues were with the dealership, the used tractor (only though it had less than 200 hours when I bought it, it must have been used hard) and no more issues so far. Sorry about the long post, but thatâs the history of this to date. Hopefully Iâll be happy with the new T494, but so far I absolutely love it. Iâll be able to tell soon, as we are coming out of winter and itâll be time to spin a tiller, dig some post holes and fix a driveway soon.
Tymâs are awful tractors, got two at work a t503 and a t433, both have had to have the rear axle seals replaced more than once, the aux hydraulic spool valve with the lock off feature have had to be replaced more than once, fuel lift pumps fail, 4wd fork is held on by a roll pin inside the gearbox casing, both have failed locking them in 4wd and before that the prop stub shafts front and rear leak and this was all before 1000hrs...
