I just want to feel happy again, to not feel this existential dread creeping in as I work my ass the entire day, only to feel exhausted and depressed. The old days of being a carefree kid is long gone, and I have to face the future with a sad and borderline suicidal mentality.

This picture reminds me of driving along the motorway, a few months ago I was going driving to Liverpool with my dad to pick my Grandma up. we were on the motorway, It was a couple days before Christmas, around 8pm, pitch black and raining so hard we could barely see a metre in front of us.
It was a couple days before Christmas, around 8pm, pitch black and raining. We were almost out of petrol and I genuinely thought we were gonna die. Everyone was almost crashing into us. I was fucking terrified. I texted half the people in my contacts just goodbye but in the end in we got though it (obviously) and I couldn't have been happier because just before I left the house, the girl I'd been obsessing over for months agreed to date me (again). That was 3 and a half months ago now and we couldn't be happier, we're engaged and moving in together in a few months.
Not long after that I got into a huge argument with my dad and almost killed myself. My parents hid all the knives in the house, took my door off and took all of my wires. But she got me through it, ik she's not gonna be reading this because I never managed to get her into emo but either way, I love you Evie and I hope you know I'd do anything for you
