Great video. Fascinating to listen to how cops conspire with each other when they think they’re not being recorded. I see from your plaques behind you on your desk that you of Florida gator. My attorney here in Martin county is also a Florida gator and extremely qualified and creative counselor who is helping me tremendously. His name is Jason Berger with Berger law firm. Its wild that police are able to mute, cover, or turn off body cameras. Any charges that cameras were should be thrown out. I don’t know why the police would want to turn it off if everything was legit, they would just be confirming evidence on record. Officers should also be fired when muting or turning off cameras especially in times they are not supposed to. There is literally no excuse for it. They can redact anything personal should there be an open records request for the footage, its not like the public just has instant access to police body camera footage.

Bodycams are a sham....they tout them as transparency....but they are absolutely not....they can mute or outright turn off the recordings....when you FOIA request them...they can 1) charge extravagant costs to get.... 2) deny them...3) redact parts...or 4) edit the video......none of that sounds like transparency....REAL transparency would be a cam that runs from "start of shift" till "end of shift" with no manipulation capabilities by police....and free to anyone needing them for defense purposes in court.....so yeah, we'll never see that.

That should be the start. The second thing is the officer should be charged with obstruction of justice and conspiracy to deny civil rights. At a minimum they should be banned from further public service. But in extreme cases they should be jailed for the maximum penalty of the charges filed by the officers.

July 28, 2022 my wife was pulled over by UHP Trooper Matt Roper. Because UHP ties promotions and awards to DUI's the trooper forced my wife to perform tests. My wife is 53 yo and has never used drugs or alcohol. The trooper had serious doubts to her guilt but arrested her after he was asked to get a supervisor. For over 3 months we could not get documents or video during discovery so my wife was without a drivers license for over 3 months until the DA finally got the tox report showing she was without alcohol or illicit drugs in her system. To this day we have not been able to obtain the video. Trooper Matt Roper lied under oath at one of the hearings and is being investigated as we speak but the good old boys always investigate themselves and find themselves did nothing wrong. The Utah Highway Patrol are a criminal organization. Trooper Matt Roper arrests innocent women. Because she performed the tests, we cannot get a lawyer to take up a civil case on contingency.

I always love when police say that they did nothing wrong because they followed their procedures.
Hello! Your 'procedure' is to detain people without reasonable articulable suspicion... that's a CRIME.
Your 'procedure' is to turn off bodycams while you conspire to frame people... that's a CRIME.
Cops all over the country are being TAUGHT to break the law. It's LITERALLY standard operating procedure.

Same happened to me in Hollywood Fla, nest to Ft. Lauderdale. Giving a dui,as a passenger, because of horrible police investigation, because I was mouthing off. Ofc B. Carter 3681 ask if I was driving and I told him,all of them, that I’m not helping you with your investigation. I was arrested. He again asked in his car who was driving and I repeated the same and said that it’s crazy you’re going to arrest me because I wont help you with your job. He said it doesn’t matter you’re going to jail tonight. I found Rossen. Susan Lawson and her colleague went to war and got a full dismissal, without bodycam. They tripped Carter in his lies and the “dui specialist” couldn’t testify because he lied during depo. Rossen rights the wrongs or will get the best outcome possible.

It should have been more than dismissal. The prosecutor’s office failed in not pursuing the clear intent to violate civil rights. Further, the only reasons for muting of audio should be restroom and request of non-suspect witnesses. Shutting off to discuss strategy should be considered a conspiracy.

No offense to this woman....but this is why cops do these things so often. If you don't make them PAY for violating your rights...then cops definitely won't have any trouble doing it over and over again. This woman may have gotten the case dismissed....but it still cost her time and money....and the cops will just do it to "the next person"....and make sure all their bodycams are off next time.

In UK, police always use breathalysers to determine road side DUI suspicions. Confirmation of being over the limit must then be obtained at a police station using a calibrated machine providing a print out.. They don't have to bother with all the walk the line athletics and eye examinations you need in USA.

The officers involved should have their credentials revoked. Find another line of work. The cities reputation and theirs has been destroyed.
