    Thanks for posting your experience/opinion. I got one on bracelet a month ago in portugal. Agree they should include the nato straps but it still is by far my favorite watch. Wears perfectly for me and i constantly find myself turning the bezel just because. Lume is fantastic also.

    Great video and story! Im more of a fan of the bigger Black Bays (79230) as the 58 is just way too small for my comfort. But both watches are pretty much the same other than the size, and my favorite thing about them is the bracelet. The way they fabricated the clasp is just perfect in my opinion. You got a new subscriber man!!

    • @tickbacktime
      @tickbacktime  Před 3 lety

      Back then, I did not pay more but overall I ended up spending more than if I just waited patiently. As for 2nd hand dealers, most brick and mortar shops are safe as they are all licensed and selling a fake watch will get them into deep, deep trouble with the authorities. Shops in The Bencoolen are fine.

    Good choice! I bought mine about 4 weeks ago and I simply love this watch. However I have 1 simple question. In the manual they say that the watch needs to be winded about 30 times. When I do this the watch stops moving in a day... while the power reserve is 70 hours. I have my concerns about this. How many times do you wind it so it stays ticking for 70 hours?

    • @tickbacktime
      @tickbacktime  Před 3 lety

      Oh it should not stop on your wrist in a day if you wind it 30 times. I would continue to monitor it and if that still happens I'd bring it in for repair.

    • @sherpataku1269
      @sherpataku1269 Před 3 lety

    • @tickbacktime
      @tickbacktime  Před 4 lety +1

      Hey! Thanks alot. Well, the speedy is actually kinda in my radar some time in the future, but if you could only have one, I would go with the bb58. It retains it's value better than the speedy, it's cheaper, is a dive watch so its way more water resistant, has longer power reserve and is an automatic. In essence it's a more practical watch but the speedy of course has a richer history and perhaps more "soul".

    • @john-carlosynostroza
      @john-carlosynostroza Před 4 lety

      They are very different watches. You can wear the tutor everyday all day everywhere and probably have no problems. You can definitely wear the Speedmaster daily but it is a bit more I'm a fragile watch although stunningly rugged for a chronograph. Totally different look as well. If it were me I would go with the tutor. But personally, I need a date on my daily watch. I mean, if I'm going to give up 30 features of your average digital watch + 150000 of a smartwatch I want my watch to do more than literally one thing which is telling the time only semi accurately. Let's be honest, mechanical watches are a joke when it comes to keeping time. Humans were making clocks that keep two seconds a day 200 years ago and we are still talk to you about the amazing movement of this or that company because they keep a few seconds a day. It's ridiculous. I still love watches... Just sayin . . .

    If you wiped that watch any more than you did, I think you would probably wipe the metal away. Also, it’s a great looking watch but I don’t like the fake rivets. What would make it better looking and more practical is a matte ceramic bezel like what’s on the Pelagos along with an on the fly adjustable bracelet and that would make it perfect. Rolex won’t do that because that will directly compete with the Submariner.
