I know that her death in the books was different she actually had the baby and it was deformed and she died a few days later but I liked the way they did it in the show because it does give her a Warrior's death and I thought it brought a better meaning to that and just my opinion
AND, it gives the interesting parallel of Daemon and Rhaenyra both losing their significant others by being burned alive.
@@Red-90 he died at his birth. And then Laena died trying to go to Vaghar for a last ride. Daemon found her in the ladders and take her body to the bed.
They make all the deaths character choices instead if accidents witch is bettet for the story.
@@SybillT they've been drawing parallels between Rhaenyra and Daemon from episode 1. I think it great tbh. ☺️

What I love about Alicent’s comment about Laenor “getting one that looks like him” and Viserys’ comment that “he has his father’s nose” is that the older actor for Joffrey surprising has a similar nose to Laenor.
It sucks already killing off great characters. Or atleast not showing their interviews. HARWIN STRONG 💪

One thing I hate about TV adaptations is that they always manage to truncate, ignore or zoom through stories I want to see. Goodbye Ser Harwin Long and Laena Valaryon. We hardly knew you before they killed you.

@@instamoral2610 I know. That's the fun of TV adaptations. You can expand as much as you want based on very limited material.
@@LeeBeeDeeTree51 It's also dangerous. We all know how poorly received the final two seasons were, and a lot of that was due to the fact they had no source material to go off and made it up. The series is very true to the pace of the book, with minor changes here and there. The main plot of this show is the Dance! Rhaenyra's battle for the iron throne. The main bulk of the story happens when Rhaenyra's and Alicent's children are adults.

They don't matter in the books and are merely plot devices to get Daemon and Rhaenyra together. The show doesn't eed to spend time with them when they haven't even reached the timeline of the dance yet.
Larys and older Aemond are the only ones I like in the Greens lol the chaos they will bring will be such a good watch

This scene with Harwin and Cole didn't make any sence..Cole got away from murdering Joffrey while Harwin gets
murdered bec he hit Cole. They speak of decency and rigtheousness but everyone's action doesn't show that they are rigtheous. Cole disrespecting the princess is still a treason. Princes Rhynaera still is higher than him and for him to get away with disrespecting and harrassing her children is punishable.. If Jacery's were his son..that would be a slap on his ego. Vicery's became so pathetic..how can a young woman beyond his years be allowed to disrespect him and publicly showed through symbolism that she is at war with her own daugther's claim on the throne. Nice entertainment...this trailers reviews are great in eliciting viewer's opinion and make us forget that this is just a story to entertain us and we we should do the thinking..hahaha...we are not the directors... hahaha..nice viewing.
I kinda lost the connection after Sir Criston went berserk on Laenors bf and the fast forward afterwards with new faces. Until that it was actually great.
