- Celebrini lived up to the hype during his rookie campaign with BU. He finished the year with 32 G 32 A for 64 points in 37 games, absolutely nuts!
The team getting him first will definitely have their franchise player for the next 15 plus years.

I don't want to get my hopes up, but I feel a bit better now that San Jose has secured the best odds to draft this kid. He's good. I wasn't so sure just because of how hyped Bedard was, but watching Celebrini I can tell he'd easily have gone 2nd after Bedard. Whoever gets him is getting a franchise centre. I really hope Chicago doesn't lol.

im not sure if he will be generational talent, but he definitely have enough talent to put 80 pts + seasons in the nhl

@@TChockey I'd call it Elite players/1st Line, Franchise players/MVP type of potential/HOF shot, and then Generational which is like a shot at GOAT status players. He's definitely imo a Franchise type of player, step above your typical first line elite foward but a step behind the Bedards/McDavids/Crosbys/etc

Celebrini is not the same dynamic player as Fantilli was
If we then compare Celebrini at 17 to Fantilli at 17, Celebrini is better.
Its pretty close but I still think Celebrini is a better freshman than Fantili was. Fantili played with Brindley, Mgroathy, Luke Hughes, Casey, Nazar etc. While Celebrini only has one elite teamate with Hutson
