I've always liked board breakers more than hand traps, they traded MUCH better in terms of card advantage if your opponent isn't trying to FTK you.
Floodgates are worse
Extenders (Small world, Avida), handtrap hate (Crossout for Ash, Droll, Imperm & Nib) & board breakers (Evenly, Dark ruler, 2 Storm, Panktratops), that my choice for @Ignister

Konmai is not typo, AFAIK, at least in Indonesia. Me and myfriends use that word as a derogatory term for them, especially when they update the banlist and replacing it with more broken ones to increase sales.

Go 2nd decks feel really nice to play in MD where we all know how hard it is to balance board breaking cards, cbtg and handtraps for some decks.
Also, for some reason, whenever opponent has a response to handtrap they always take so long and I hate it. Maybe it is that irl I get to at least have some type of social dynamic going on.
Honestly, in MD; going blind second is actually really good lmao.
I recently put Dark Ruler No More in my train/dreadnaught deck, its absolutely fantastic. DRNM into just putting out a 3 material Liebe means I can roll over an entire board and go into a 4 material Zeus.
Even just DRNM into Raigeki has been good. 5 negate boards plus a floodgate just get blown out. Idk how I've played this long without ever slotting it in.

Ash seems like is only good if you can stop a maxx c, fusion destiny or sometimes a pot, often stopping a search or a special summon from the deck is not enough. An exception is with floowanderezee, if they can't chain block they can also die to ash. I understand not including it in this version of the deck.
I mean, this really depends on you knowing the choke points, not saying it's just as easy as that, but a lot of decks die if you ash their halq and similar monsters
@@reisen4963 yeah, and is a good idea to ash right there, but then you also lose to call by or crossout, the point is sometimes having going second cards is better.
If you know what deck they're playing you can bottleneck them real hard.

Me a combo player: Yep, you lose to two things one yourself messing up cause of multiple lines, or the loss running too many engines and drawing the garnets. Granted that happens in almost every deck but with combo decks sometimes you can play it out sometimes you can not.

Swordsoul always looked like a going second deck to me. Though I only have personal experience running a janky Wyrm pile that only ever did well going second to begin with.
I changed to a going second deck in Master Duel and never went back. Just need to craft more UR board breakers.
I like the deck overall, and I'm excited to try it out. But what do you do when your only board breaker is Dark Ruler and your opponent activates Maxx C? Is that worth running Ash for?

I am waiting until evil launhuan is released cause that thing is going to make blind second insane. Also play the swordsoul monster reborn, that thing has saved me so many times when I want to go for lethal, I usually also play droplets over dark ruler sense I can fuel the tenyis and taiya off of it while letting me go for damage.
Everything is wrong here, the swordsoul reborn sucks dark ruler is just ONE card to negate every monster. Its a nobrainer.
@@olivergames7783 your being overdramatic, first the swordsoul reborn is a preference that I like alot over not running it and I like droplets in MD better, although when spright/tieralaments get released you better believe I am switching to dark ruler.

Just in case you read these: I'd put Zeus into your ED (maybe for one of the monks, one of the baxias, or something) just cause you run Triple Tac AND Prosperity. So if you get Tac off prosperity and they have an xyz on board you can steal it and make Zeus.
Very clever idea. However, there aren't many decks that end on an xyz atm.
