What’s going on everyone, my name is Uncommonsoap and welcome to our Pokemon Hardcore Genlocke. Follow me as we go through each region and become the World Champion.
Genlocke Rules:
- If a Pokemon faints, it must be permanently boxed
- The first encounter in each Route/Area can be caught
- Static Pokemon can also be collected EG Starter + Fishing
- No Legendaries/Mythicals, duplicates are banned cross region (exception for regional variants/Eeveelutions)
- Dupes can be used as HM Mons
- No items can be used in battle (except hold items)
- Party Pokemon may not level above the next Gym Leader/4th Elite 4 Ace (exception for mid battle)
- Battles must be set to set
- Living Champions of each region are passed onto the next region as eggs
- Eggs gain perks based on the number of games they’ve survived
1 Perfect IV/game, chosen nature, 1 Egg Move/game, hold item
- Trade evolutions will evolve naturally
- Pokemon will evolve by level 40 to incentivize using a more diverse team for more of the game
- At the start of each game eggs will be chosen (if chosen), if you wipe, you can reattempt that game with any available banked eggs.
- If you white out and have no eggs remaining another wipe restarts the entire challenge.

I’m so happy you started in Red, I feel like you never see nuzlockes of this gen but it’s got a totally different feel from the remakes even though they’re basically the same game. Plus I find all the sprites from this game to be so charming, especially the ugly ones (love you Cheese

It’s much easier to do with the official games, or at least games without fakemon. There’s a tool that runs a script in the ROM that’s easy to update.

Gen 4!?? But what did you have in mind? My schedule is just kinda limited between my day job, and content.
ive got a few other creators interested, basically its a guess what pokemon made the fusion type video, 5 easy, medium, and hard fusions, and you get a point for every fusion you get correct

This comment makes me incredibly happy! I had decided to play this on my own since so few people tuned in and ended up failing in the back to back N, Ghetsis fight in White.
I’ve been working on another attempt that I’ll turn into videos probably in the next few weeks. I’m hoping so few people watched just because it was Gen1

I ran the game through the randomizer tool specifically for Trade evos, I made evolve at lvl 40

The eggs and stuff? I can use PKHex, and the randomizer tool to help add the stuff in that I need for the challenge.
@@theuncommonsoap so I don’t need Pokémon bank for the 3DS then it’s already canceled sadly but also I have a good idea after you finish with this one every Pokémon you catch in Pokémon go, you can transfer it into Scarlet and Violet and play with those Pokémon
So I’m gonna be playing the ROMs of the games, and basically modding those. technically once I get to the switch games I could put them on my switch if I jailbroke it, but I don’t want to do that since I only have the one and I don’t want to risk ruining it
