After completing a leaf green run, I took all those Pokémon, and transferred them over to this a new game of Pokemon Emerald. We will continue our series playing through every region using the same exact Pokémon.
Oh yeah, and its a Hardcore Nuzlocke, because why not?

I really like the idea of multi-game Nuzlocke with a Dwindling Party twist to it. Also, mad kudos for going for Emerald's "true ending" by challenging Steven despite the risk involved under your rules.
Thanks! The dwindling party does really concern me just yet. Once I get into future gens that I’m less familiar with, I’m sure it’ll be an issue.
I definitely think you should adjust the Pokémons ID and SID so they obey. If you're supposed to be the same character traversing every region, it doesn't make sense from a storytelling perspective that your Pokémon don't obey you. I feel you don't need the additional challenge of having to deal with obedience and experience distribution, it takes away from the fun of traveling with the original Pokémon
I'm surprised your the only person saying that tbh. I though there would be a number of people. I could have changed that, but I felt it made the start a bit more exciting tbh. Anyway, it shouldnt be an issue after gen 4, and I've already gotten to that point in my playthrough, so can't change it now.

I like the fact you don’t just rely on the powerhouses like Charizard and Snorlax but instead utilize the weaker Pokemon, massive respect for that

Yeah that was unfortunate. Especially since notweedle could probably have come out instead to prevent her death. That wasn’t my best move for sure
As someone who enjoys restarting my old Pokemon games and doing a new playthrough with a custom team I bred, i know your pain well. SOO many battles that could have easily been won lost because your Pokemon didn't listen.
Pokemon that don't listen can also hit themselves in confusion without needing to be confused. Fun annoying fact.

If it makes you feel any better, I would sacrifice almost any of my living Pokémon to get gengar back. I love that ghost. Course that love diminishes with cursed body, but still
Brawleys meditite is coded to always use focus punch i think.
Gen 1 pokemon low key suck , especially the more generations you go . You’re a saint . They got decent buffs in later games , but you’re a saint

I know it's really late to be saying/suggesting this, but I think you should reset the deaths in each new region you go to. At least the ones that had stupid deaths like Gastly killing itself or Zubat dying due to not listening to you because of the disobedience level only going up every 2 badges instead of 1. I feel like it makes things more interesting and fun with each new region you go to.
Yeah I think that’s a valid suggestion. The main goal of the challenge was to have a diminishing group of Pokémon to chose from to make them more interesting. As far as the disobedience level is concerned, I’m not really going to worry about it in future games because it is not much of an issue.

One of my least favorite parts of challenges is that the pokemon become useless after a short playthrough, and you have thrown that problem right out the window! :D
Yep, that’s the goal to try and conserve them as much as I can, so they can be used repeatedly!

Love how you skipped gen 1 and 2 to do a gen 3 and a remake of gen1 games
Yeah, not a huge gen 1 fan. And this is coming from someone who played the crap out of Pokemon Red and then Silver when they first came out.
Even putting aside the quality of life changes, the sheer amounts of crits in gen 1 make Nuzlockes a pain.
Also, I really appreciate you being a member, it means a lot and I'm trying to find things to make it more worth your while. If you have any ideas, feel free to let me know.
