Artlocke rules:
1) Catch the first Pokémon you encounter per Route and Nickname it!
2) Draw that Pokémon a character portrait! Speedpaint and talk about the critter!
3) If it faints in battle? It dies FOR REAL and must be boxed never to be used again.
4) If all party members faint, then that's a Game Over!
Hey, Trainers! With Pokémon Legends Z-A on the way, I wanted to concentrate on some of the games that might prove to be relevant in relation to this upcoming title! Pokémon Y, set in Kalos, is the genesis of Lumiose City where Legends Z-A will be set so I figured we'd start here!

Good thing Worf could handle this one!
I decided to look it up.
In that fishing spot with an old rod you'd only find Luvdisc. However if you return with a better rod you can find better Pokemon!
I will hold that in reserve for later once we get some better rods, then!

Yeah it's cool but also odd that Ivysaur evolves so early, at least compared to the other Kanto starters.
It makes a little sense seeming as Bulbasaur was supposed to be easy-mode for Kanto. Good against the first two gyms, resists the third, levels up and evolves fast. An all-round smooth ride!
Yeah that's true, Krokorok doesn't really change from Sandile. I'm surprised it evolves so early though, at least for a gen 5 mon!
It's one of the few Gen 5 ones that does! Though, I think its final evolution is still in the mid to late 40s.
After you hopefully beat Korrina what do you plan to do with the gift Lucario? Do you plan to use it or keep it in the box as an emergency option should things get dicey?
Pretty sure we're adding it to the team!

That will definitely increase the teams strength by a lot!
What about the gift Lapras nearby?
I'll snag it for sure but I'm happy keeping Julian on the team for now so it's mostly going to be as a backup option.
