Morocco day 5... "HARDSHIP" in the mountains.

- Day 5 we travel through what the locals call the black valley. One of the hardest days ever on a bike with over 6 hours in the depts of the Jebel Saghro mountains.
Unfortunately I took the camera and fired it into the bag as this day needed my full concentration so the climbing on the far side was cut short.
Sometimes you need to live the moment with out distraction.
After coming across some of the tracks that had been washed away and made unpassable we had to take the longer harder route crossing three mountain tops. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
What a beautiful place to ride, and a day to remember to with the mates👍
It sure is, plenty of memories made.

Well done.
And hurry up with E06.
The strange thing Leon, I would actually do it again. After a few days recovery I would give it another bash but I think been better prepared and expecting the hardship we might have approached it a little differently.
Unreal! Love the vid! And a very accurate title too 😅😅😅
Thanks. 👍
Well done lads... sounds like that was some tough going but ye got through! 🦾
Great Video's day 1 to 5, thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it
The best one
Cheers. 👍
Hats off to ye Merv for tackling that, and your crf did it like a boss😎👊🏻
I was very nearly changing the CRF before that day, but it’s just a great do it all little bike that’s super reliable.
Remote and arid...looks great 👍
Thanks 👍
Well done getting through that lot .
It was a challenge alright.
Wow. Great video. But even after talking to you yesterday it looked 100 times harder , that crf has mountain goat oil in it. Great video looking forward to more
Cheers Ciaran.
Great footage 😊 looked like a tough day. Fair play to you guys.
Cheers Jonny. It was a good day, the hard ones always are. The reward of self satisfaction after is worth it.
nice ride.
Thanks 👍
Fair play. Savage looking goat track ! Not sure you can even call some of that a trail. What gps were you using Mervyn?
We had all our routes mapped out before travelling but with all the roads, dirt roads and mountain passes been listed very similar it’s near impossible to know what your getting into till you get there. And that track was listed as a main road type track 🤷🏼♂️
We all use a Garmin Zumo XT.
What a cool track! I would love to exchange routes with you, if you are interested. I have some really nice dirt tracks from my 6 months in the country.
Hi 👋, the tracks and routes we used I no longer have as I never save them on the GPS.
One of the lads @tigsdirtyroads done the routes that we used in Morocco but I don’t think he saves the either. I’ll check with him and if he still has them I’ll get him so get in touch with you. 👍
@@mervsbikingadventures Thanks a lot 😊
