1996 Yamaha YZ250 Budget build - episode 2

I grew up with a few dirt bikes and finally got back to it. I picked up a 1996 yz250 that runs but needs quite a bit of love. This is just to show what the bike looks like as I bought it and how I clean them up before I begin to tear them down. I plan to powder coated the frame, anodize a few parts and build a perfect example of a 96 YZ250.

Your front brake line needs to route inside the fork. Thanks for sharing this video.

The bike came with the incorrect line. I have since replaced with oem length line. Thanks

Just picked up a 1996 with a ceased motor hoping its not the bottom end 😬

Only problem with '96 is the power valves are no longer available.
