- Herewith you'll find the first release of our recently developed Blender Add-on: 'TD Scripts v1.0. We're currently seeking for opportunities to make the transition between Blender and Touchdesigner more fluid, especially within the export realm.
The first release of this Add-on for Blender comes with two scripts:
- a blender material to TD converter
- a camera position/rotation script
Of course this Add-on is highly under development so additional features, options and fixes to make the transition from Blender to Touchdesigner more fluid are on the top of our minds. If you have any suggestions, tips, ideas for a script or any kind of Blender/TD related thing that stands in your way that you'd like to be fixed, feel free to contact me anytime!
A 'FREE' release this version since it's in a development state. Future plans are releasing something like a free 'LIGHT' version and a Patreon only 'PRO' version with more additional scripts.

thank you!!!!
bueno!
Thanks for the content. What version of Blender should I use? I got an error when I installed the addon from the latest version.
Thank you for mentioning! I've testend it on 2.92, but of course need to have a fix for the latest blender. I'll get back to you asap!
Should be fixed now, seems to be something in the filename mismatching, tested it on both 2.92 and the latest 3.2 blender. Make sure you remove the earlier installed addon first by pressing the 'remove' button in the edit-preference-add-on menu inside blender. Thank you!

all right.
Thanks for checking the content.
Is it possible to use a TD value in blender, for example for beat detection?, Can i use a value from a TD operator and feed it to a blender parameter?
That would be the other way around I guess ;). Yeah would be a nice feature, I believe there is an OSC-in plugin voor blender somewhere on the net, that would help out I think,
@@FactorySettings Hopefully i can find something, i've been trying to find something that works like that for some time. A way where i could use a value from TD on for example the rotation of an object in blender as an increment. Thank you
@@nsu There certainly is, look for 'NodeOSC' for blender, it's an additional node for the Animation Nodes addon, but it can be a bit intimidating at first to set it up, but it works quite well!
@@FactorySettings I will look into it, thank you so much!
