Just a heads up…if you are planning on reusing that petcock, the vinegar will eat away at that metal as well ruining it. I made that mistake on an XL500 I did over the summer lol. I have been using an aluminum plate to block the opening when soaking the vinegar.

Great tip - I did end up using a newer petcock but that's good to know!
