Kilimanjaro Umbwe Route

In the summer of 2019, my husband and I set out to climb Mount Kilimanjaro via the Umbwe Route over a 6 day stretch. Our trekking agency was SENE (Summit Expeditions and Nomadic Experience). This video describes our initial stay at the Mbahe Farm Cottages followed by our climb up the mountain and our summit attempt!

For this climb we summited on July 2, 2019… we also summited a 2nd time on March 7, 2021 using Lemosho route
