I started following her in 1996 when I bought "Relish". VERY underrated artist.
This is a very good concert, with the one sad exception of the last song getting cut-off prematurely before the band was finished.

I have loved Joan for years. I am mainly a rock player, and a busker. I use a lot of effects on my acoustic guitar with a magnetic, humbucking pickup. I have to have a humbucker as I regularly play in the subway under my local train station. It has strip lighting, so single coils are no good, and I hate the sound of piezos, especially with octave divider and some distortion. I now have One of us, and St.Teresa in my set. I can sing these easily, a full octave below where Joan sings them. She's a fantastic artist!.

It's 2021 and this was posted to CZcams in 2018. Only 4,837 views so far, as far as today; 2/3/21, and I wonder where everyone is! I love Joan Osborne and think she can turn many things into gold and music.
I agree with you!! She is one of my favorite female vocalists! I cranked the hell out of relish in the 90’s. Reminds me of Janis Joplin only sober and better!! I’m waiting for her comeback! If she plays live in SoCal, I’m there.

I've heard One Of Us so many times, yet when I heard this delicate, stripped-down version and saw how it was connecting with the good folks there, suddenly I had tears going down my face. And I thought, "Where did that come from?" And then, to follow with that soulful take on Van and Emmylou? Just stop it already.
