    So with the Bioshock Collection, Infinite wasn't remastered for PC. They believe that the PC version is already up to modern standards (which it is). But it was remastered for consoles. We got the collection on PC, and figured it was better to do it on PC anyway because it would still look better than the console version. For that reason, this is not "Remastered" but it is from the Bioshock Remastered Collection. We recorded in 1080p at 60 frames per second in full ultra graphics. the original game movie we did a couple of years ago was on the 360, so you will see a real difference.
    As always we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to create a fluid cinematic experience. We hope you enjoy!
    In July 1912, Booker DeWitt is taken by Robert and Rosalind Lutece to an island lighthouse off the coast of Maine. Told to "bring us the girl and wipe away the debt," Booker enters a lighthouse, which doubles as a rocket silo and transports him to Columbia.[32]
    Booker is soon pursued by the city authority when he is found bearing a scar of the letters "AD," matching the description of the foretold "False Shepherd" who will corrupt Elizabeth and overthrow Columbia.[33][34] Freeing Elizabeth from her tower, Booker narrowly evades her captor, Songbird. Reaching an airship, Booker promises to take Elizabeth to Paris; when she realizes they are going to New York City to wipe away Booker's debt, a tearful Elizabeth knocks him out. Booker awakens to find the airship under the control of Daisy Fitzroy, who offers to return the ship if Booker helps her arm the Vox Populi.
    Booker and Elizabeth join forces to secure weapons from a local gunsmith. However, several twists of fate result in Elizabeth having to overlay the contents of various Tears onto the present reality. Ultimately, they land in a world where Booker is a martyr of the Vox Populi whose "sacrifice" sparked open warfare between the two factions. Fitzroy, convinced that the non-dead Booker is "either an impostor, or a ghost," turns her forces against him. With Booker's help, Elizabeth kills Fitzroy to prevent her from executing a Founder boy.

    Probably an unpopular opinion:
    The story was quite unique. Simply amazing. I was not so fond of the constant gameplay, though. You had little actual scenes that formed a concrete story. Most of the time you were shooting people up. Now I'm not saying that's particularly bad, but it's not really my cup of tea to be constantly in a fight. I would've liked to see a more immersive storyline throughout the whole game.
    But still, the ending made the game.

If a version of Rapture exists in every world in the Bioshock multiverse, there's bound to be a reality that's close to our own.

    It's always makes me feel a bit sad for whatever poor developer had set up those oil puddles to use the fire vigor on as I walked by all of them since every enemy had just rushed me and I shot them in the face.

    Freaking loved this game and its story. I actually like it more than the first game. If others prefer the first game over this one, that's cool. But I'm actually shocked to see how many fans of the first actually say they don't like this one and thought it was a bad game. So unfortunate, I thought I was awesome :/

      I loved BioShock (didn't like 2). I considered it a top 5 game. Around 2013 I'd just started university, so kind of played Infinite and thought "yeh it was cool" but never finished it. Went back and played it in full 18 months ago for the first to get 100% achievements, as I'd maxed out 1 and 2 in the BioShock Collection and wanted to complete the trilogy. It's now my 2nd favourite game of all time. It's the most recent video gaming masterpiece, in my opinion (along with The Last of Us). There is vietually nothing wrong with this game. The story, pacing, characters, set pieces, gameplay, art, lore, innovation, everything is utterly perfect. Even the DLC was amazing, and I usually hate DLC.

      @justincummings5022 Před rokem

      In my opinion, all 3 games were good.
      1 had the horror theme and the best antagonists.
      2 had the best story (although the other games had pretty good ones) and Subject Delta, who is one of the best silent protagonists I've seen. (It's also my favorite)
      Infinite had probably the best gameplay, and I liked Booker and Elizabeth's relationship. I think the main problem people had with Infinite is that it had very little to do with the other games, plus it had changed a *lot* from what the trailers showed.

    • @justincummings5022
      @justincummings5022 Před rokem

      @@captainjirk9564 that's cool but A: parallel universes aren't the easiest to understand. I don't really get it myself. B: bad endings have always had an unfortunate place in Bioshock. The earlier ones depended upon your choices. And besides, I wouldn't call this a truelly bad ending. A bad ending is where the hero loses and the antagonist wins in the end, either by corruption or by outright killing them. Infinite's ending is more bittersweet. While yeah Booker is drowned, he also prevents Comstock from being created and Elizabeth can't be turned into his puppet. Which is definitely a good thing.
      Again. It's your opinion. I don't judge. I just felt the need to point this out.

    I mean, I understand why people say that this doesn't work as a prequel. But, the game was actually an experience to treasure. I could feel Elizabeth's innocence die and rot as reality itself was shaped according to her perspective of the world. Even the bond between her and Booker was believable, it was like that of a Big Daddy and his Little Sister. The game might not follow the horror atmosphere, but overall, it seems to respect the saga's main ideas. That this world values children, not childhood. And that whatever big ideas we might have to change the world, in the end, we can't deny our real nature. We should always stive to become better, of course, but one single person imposing the change and simply having followers, not partners, isn't enough.

    • @xavierfranco5800

      It's like Elizabeth said, Comstock is still alive in certain universes even if he destroyed Comstock in this one. If he kills himself before he becomes Comstock, there will never be infinite universes where Comstock exists. Remember, one Comstock from a certain universe could eventually find his way to this Booker's universe and start causing problems. It's like a tree where only one branch bears a certain fruit. Cut off the branch before the fruit, and the fruit will never exist again. But the rest of the tree remains intact. So he never becomes Comstock, which means he never develops the tear machines and kill the Lutece twins and they never do their thing and make Booker give up Elizabeth. So then Booker lives out his life never having given up his daughter. Happily ever after. But that means that everything that happens in the game gets erased from reality.
